Diamond then played Screech during 19 episodes of "Saved by the Bell: The College Years" alongside some other "Saved By The Bell" alumni.

He was in the TV movie "Saved by the Bell: Wedding in Las Vegas" before appearing in 130 episodes of "Saved by the Bell: The New Class" as Principal Belding's assistant. Finally, he appeared as Screech in an episode of "Hang Time" (1995) for a total of 251 outings as Screech!

Diamond was the fourth of thirteen celebrities to leave the house on the UK's "Celebrity Big Brother 12." He was the seventh of ten to go home on "Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling" and on "Celebrity Fit Club" season 5 he lost the second least body weight out of the eight competing celebrities, despite being the second heaviest going in. He had notable confrontations with the show's host, the show's trainer and other competing celebrities.

He has not appeared on "Worst Cooks in America," but previous winners of the celebrity edition include Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Perez Hilton and La Toya Jackson.

The odds were heavily in Diamond's favour - he was 25 whilst Palillo was 53, he weighed 198 lbs whilst Palillo weighed 144, and his height was recorded as 6'0" with a 74" reach, whereas Palillo measured 5'7" with a reach of 68". Diamond showed no qualms about attacking Palillo full force, causing him to fall to the ground twice and giving him two black eyes. Diamond also taunted Palillo and played to the audience and the camera before the referee called him as the winner 1:23 into the second two-minute round.

No, that's not a typo - despite portraying the character for over a decade, Diamond has no rights to the character of Screech, so an extra "e" was added to skirt copyright law, Similarly, his website urged "First we rallied to Free Wynona. The next time we Voted For Pedro. This time we'll Save Screeech's House!"
The front of the t-shirt had a black and white photo of Diamond holding a cardboard sign reading "SAVE MY HOUSE" above the URL WWW.GETDSHIRTS.COM, written in a garish font. The t-shirts cost $15 as standard or $20 signed. Diamond claimed he needed to sell 30,000 within forty days to avoid being evicted. A number of fans claimed not to have received the shirts for which they paid.
Diamond also tried selling "Sponsorship Bricks" - 88 x 31 pixel virtual banners that crudely formed a house. Given one inch-wide "brick" cost $1,000, and the "house" was not even prominently placed on the website it is not surprising this didn't take off.

In "Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star" (2003), Diamond is one of a number of former child actors who attend the same support group as David Spade's Dickie Roberts. In "Pauly Shore Is Dead" (2003), Diamond is one of about forty celebrities who cameo as themselves in Pauly Shore's mockumentary.

There is surprisingly little information about Salty The Pocketknife online, especially if you are reluctant to actually listen to the music. Like much of Diamond's post-"Screech" career there seems to be a need to prove how "adult" the band is with songs about topics such as abortion ("Sever"). Diamond said in a 2004 interview that he had been involved with music for about twenty-two years, first learning how to play classical guitar from his father.

Though he has an interest in some of the nerdy passions of his on-screen counterpart, Diamond has also managed to work his way up to black belt. "Screech and I have a lot in common. We are both strange, funny, interested in computers, good at chess, and chick magnets." The only video on his YouTube channel is of himself patrolling Times Square dressed as a ninja, though there is regrettably no demonstration of his karate skills.

Though Diamond was arrested on Christmas Day, 2014, after stabbing a man at a Wisconsin bar, the injuries sustained were not lethal, and Diamond was later convicted with carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to four months in prison, released after three and was then re-arrested for probation violation.

He has since continued to find work both on and off screen.
