Answer: Hannibal Hayes and Kid Curry

Running between 1971 and 1973, this western was about two outlaws trying to turn over a new leaf to get a pardon. It followed them as they criss crossed America getting involved in the lives of various people they met. There were similarities between it and the film "Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid", not least the appearance of Devils Hole Gang, who were clearly based on the Hole In The Wall Gang.

Richard Kimble, played by David Janssen in the original television series and Harrison Ford in the film, finds his wife murdered and he is convicted of the crime. He escapes and goes in search of the one armed man who is the real killer. Throughout his search he is pursued by Lt. Gerrard.

The original television series ran for four years from 1963 to 1967 and was hugely popular both in America and the United Kingdom.

In a series of books that ran from 1920 to 1954 Captain Hugh Drummond was an ex World War I veteran who, bored with civilian life, became a private investigator. In the first four books his constant adversary was Carl Peterson, who had plans for world domination.

After Drummond killed Peterson his enemy became a lady called Irma, who sought revenge for the death of Peterson. Her exact relationship with him is never explained but it is implied that she was his mistress.

"Dexter" is a blood splatter pattern analyst for the Miami Metro Police Department. He also happens to be a serial killer with an impressive body count. He has rules though, he only kills those who slip through the Police net one way or the other and deserve to die. Based on the books by Jeff Lindsay "Dexter" has become a very successful television series. Michael C. Hall is very believable in the title role.

'The Scarecrow" is Professor Jonathan Crane, a psychologist. His weapon is fear, usually induced by some form of drug. He wears a scarecrow mask when administering it. He has a fear of bats. 'Harley Quinn' was the Joker's psychiatrist, Dr Harleen Quinzel. Unfortunately she fell in love with her patient and turned to a life of crime as his sidekick. 'Killer Croc' is Waylon Jones. With a deformed body that gives him the appearance of a crocodile he has super human strength.

Gary Glitter was hugely popular in the glam rock era of the 1970s. His live stage shows continued to attract large audiences into the 1990s. His career cme to an abrupt end when, in 1999, he was convicted for possessing child pornography. After his release he went to live in Vietnam. He ran into more trouble there and was sent to jail for committing obscene acts with minors.

In 2001 Jonathan King was convicted of sexual assault of teenage boys. Roman Polanski and Errol Flynn were both tried for sexual intercourse with underage girls. Polanski was convicted, Flynn was not.

'Kefka' has all the attributes necessary to be a wonderful villain. He is completely mad, has no morals, no sense of loyalty and doesn't care who or what he kills to get what he wants. From acts of bio terrorism which kill hundreds, to the complete destruction of the world, he pursues the heroes through the entire game.

Not only was Dr. Szell not entirely sane, he was also a Nazi - always a very good combination for a villain. The scene where he practices dentistry on Dustin Hoffman is one that had those of us with something of a fear of dentists peeping out from between our fingers, or from behind cushions.

It certainly meant that dentists waiting rooms had a higher than usual tension level for several months after the release of the film.

"Rebecca" by Daphne Du Maurier is the tale of the second wife of Maxim De Winter. She arrives at his house "Manderley", only to find the housekeeper, Mrs Danvers, is devoted to the memory of his first wife "Rebecca". By what can only be described as psychological warfare she undermines and terrorises the new Mrs. De Winter, going so far as to suggest she commits suicide.

"The Silence of the Lambs", published in 1988 is the second novel to feature Hannibal Lecter. The first was "Red Dragon", published in 1981. "Red Dragon" was filmed as "Manhunter" in 1986 and "Silence of the Lambs" was filmed in 1991.

Whilst "Red Dragon" was a reasonably successful book "Silence of the Lambs" gained great acclaim. It won the 1988 Bram Stoker award for Best Novel and the 1989 Anthony Award for Best Novel.

The film won five Oscars and continues to be listed among the best films ever made.
