Jodie Foster plays the role of FBI agent Clarice Starling, who tries get help from imprisoned cannibal serial killer Dr. Hannibal Lecter to help catch another serial killer called Buffalo Bill. 'The Silence of the Lambs' was an overwhelming success, both critically and financially.

At the Academy Awards in 1992, the film picked up no less than five Oscars - Best Actor for Anthony Hopkins (despite only have a relatively small amount of on-screen time), Best Actress for Jodie Foster, Best Picture, Best Director for Jonathan Demme, and Best Adapted Screenplay.
2. Who directed the 2007 film 'Lions for Lambs', and starred in it alongside Meryl Streep and Tom Cruise?

'Lions for Lambs' follows three separate stories, all connected by the violence and wars in the Middle East. It was written by Matthew Michael Carnahan, who previously wrote the script for 'The Kingdom' (2007). The film did not receive favourable reviews and did not fare well at the box office, despite making back its budget and then some.

The TV show 'Baa Baa Black Sheep' was loosely based on the WWII adventures of Marine Corps fighter ace Pappy Boyington. The Black Sheep squadron was the nickname of Marine Attack Squadron 214 which was formed in Hawaii during WWII. The show ran from 1976 to 1978 and also featured actors Dana Elcar, Simon Oakland and John Larroquette. Robert Conrad had previously appeared as Agent Jim West on the TV show 'Wild Wild West' in the 1960s.

In the late 1970s, he portrayed French fur trader Pasquinel in the TV mini-series 'Centennial', and he also was in a series of TV commercials for Eveready batteries.

'A Close Shave' was released in 1995, and was the third of Nick Park's animated films featuring the inventor Wallace, and his silent but highly intelligent dog Gromit. In this film, Wallace and Gromit are window cleaners who become embroiled in a sheep-rustling plot by an evil robotic dog.

The 1996 Academy Awards saw 'A Close Shave' win the award for Best Animated Short Film. That was the third time in a row that a 'Wallace and Gromit' film won that particular Academy Award.
5. 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?' is a dystopian novel written by which American author?

The novel follows an android hunter called Rick Deckard who is searching for rogue androids in post-apocalyptic America. The basic premise of the book was adapted into Ridley Scott's film 'Blade Runner' in 1982, starring Harrison Ford and Rutger Hauer.

Pink Floyd's 'Animals' was released in 1977, and featured just five tracks on two sides. Roger Waters, one of the band's guitarists, was responsible for writing the tracks on the album, one of which was co-written with bandmate David Gilmour. The original track was called 'Raving and Drooling', but it was changed and a different version of the song made it onto the album, under the name of 'Sheep'.
10. Mareep and Flaaffy are sheep-like creatures from which popular series of video games for Nintendo devices?

The games in the 'Pokemon' series are divided into generations, and each generation usually contains games for one particular gaming system. Generation II games included 'Gold', 'Silver', and 'Crystal' for the Game Boy Color, and added over 100 new Pokemon to the existing 151 introduced in Generation I, including the ovine Mareep and Flaaffy.

In the games, Pokemon gain experience during battles, and will evolve into a new Pokemon when they reach certain levels of experience. Mareep evolves into Flaaffy when it reaches level 15. Flaaffy then evolves into Ampharos at level 30, but Ampharos does not resemble a sheep as much as its previous forms do.
