Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who was Randy Orton's first Heavyweight title defense against?

Answer: Chris Benoit

He won the Heavyweight Title at the 2004 "Summerslam" against Chris Benoit. The next night Benoit got a rematch and lost that match as well. It was due to an outside interference by Evolution. Evolution then turned their back on Orton.
2. Hulk Hogan won his first Heavyweight Title in 1984. Who was his first Pay Per view title defense against?

Answer: King Kong Bundy

He wrestled Bundy at the second "Wrestlemania" in a Steel Cage Match. It was a pretty bloody match. Hogan came out victorious. He would go on the next year to defeat Andre the Giant.
3. Who did Diesel beat to win his first Heavyweight Title?

Answer: Bob Backlund

He beat Bob Backlund at Madison Sqaure Garden in only 8 seconds. The bell rang, Diesel kicked him in the stomach and Powerbombed him for the win. Diesel won that belt in late November of 1994 and lost it November of 1995 to Bret Hart.
4. In 1993 the Intercontinental Title was vacant due to Shawn Michaels not defending his belt as he should have. So they had a Battle Royal in which the last two guys in the ring would wrestle for the Intercontinental Title. Who were these two guys?

Answer: Razor Ramon and Rick Martel

Razor and Rick Martel were both the last guys standing and had to wrestle the following week. Razor came out victorious. Michaels kept saying he never lost the belt so he is still champion. These two would feud for the next few months. It finally ended when the two wrestled their infamous Ladder Match at the tenth "Wrestlemania".
5. Who won the 2004 edition of the "Royal Rumble"?

Answer: Chris Benoit

This victory led Benoit to his first Heavyweight Title run with the company. He defeated Triple H and Shawn Michaels in a Triple Threat Match at "Wrestlemania XX". Benoit lost the belt to Randy Orton five months later.
6. Brock Lesnar and The Big Show both wrestled on an edition of "Smackdown" where they broke the ring. Which move did Brock do that caused this to happen?

Answer: Super-Plex

This match was short but the ending made up for it. Brock set up Big Show on the top rope. I honestly didn't think this was possible but Brock did it and Super-Plexed him and broke the ring. The match stopped there, obviously.
7. Who did Chris Jericho interrupt when he made his debut?

Answer: The Rock

The Rock was doing an interview and Jericho debuted. They had some words, but did not fight there. The following week he interrupted Big Show and Undertaker. That wasn't too smart.
8. Who did Triple H beat to become the first World Champion on "RAW"?

Answer: Noone

He has defeated all the guys listed but he was handed the World Title on an edition of "RAW". He held the title for close to a year before losing it to Goldberg.
9. Kane made his debut in 1997 when he attacked his brother, The Undertaker. Who did he wrestle his first Pay Per View match against?

Answer: Mankind

He wouldn't wrestle the Undertaker until the 1998 edition of "Wrestlemania". He wrestled Stone Cold in June of 1998. Now Mankind and Dude Love are both the same person, they are different characters. He wrestled Mankind at the 1997 "Survivor Series".
10. Who was the first ever undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World?

Answer: Chris Jericho

Jericho was the first guy to defeat both The Rock and Stone Cold in the same night to get that belt. So he did earn it. He lost the belt to Triple H at the 2002 "Wrestlemania".
