In the first issue of their own book, the four Titans were Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash and Wonder Girl. It was revealed that Speedy was a founding member in the fifty-fourth issue.
2. When did Speedy make his first appearance in the comic?

Answer: Issue Four

Responding to fan mail, the writers of the book included Speedy in an adventure during the summer Olympics in the fourth issue. Speedy was slated to fire arrows through the five Olympic rings at the opening ceremony.

The Gargoyle ruled over Limbo, and had an unspecified grudge against the team. He accused one of the Titans of knowing he was innocent of a past crime, but they supposedly kept the proof under wraps. Robin was eventually able to beat him in combat and free his teammates.

Answer: False

The villain's name was the Deliverer. He nearly succeeded in lifting Mount Rushmore into orbit, and got even closer to his goal with the Sphinx of Egypt. Working for aliens, he was apprehended by the Titans, who were tipped off by a DJ in space who was being held hostage by the same aliens.

In their December issue, the Teen Titans met characters by the name of Scrounge and his hard-working but poor employee, Ratchit. Of course, these characters were based on Ebeneezer Scrooge and Bob Cratchit. Happily, everything is resolved by the last page.
