WWE 'Raw' June 17, 2002 Trivia Quiz

Answer: Rob Van Dam

Rob Van Dam faced off against X-Pac in the first "King of The Ring" Quarter Final Match. Unfortunately, X-Pac lost when Booker T interfered, costing him the match. RVD pinned X-Pac with the "Five Star Frog Splash" for the win.

Answer: Vince McMahon

Vince came to the ring and was very apologetic to the fans. He said that the week before Stone Cold Steve Austin walked out, not just on him and the company, but on the fans. Vince said that he would welcome Austin back, if he chose to come back. He also said that if Austin did come back he would have a lot of explaining and apologizing to do, not just to him, but to the fans.

At the end of his announcement, Vince asked for a beer. He opened it, took a sip, and placed in the center of the ring as homage to one of the greatest wrestlers ever.

Answer: Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy faced off against Raven. This was basically an all out war, with each wrestler giving their best. After the match began, The Undertaker walked to the top of the ramp, in an effort to make Jeff nervous. Jeff won when he gave Raven the "Swanton Bomb" and pinned him for the win. When the match was over, Jeff sped away as fast as his legs could take him. Way to go Jeff!

Answer: Goldust

Booker was approached backstage by Goldust, who was supposed to be dressed like a king. Goldust told Booker that if got past Brock Lesnar tonight, he would go on to become "King Booker" at "King of The Ring."

Answer: Thigh Crunches

Molly was doing thigh crunches when Coach approached her. He asked her what her reaction was to Trish Stratus' disparaging remarks the week before. Molly literally flipped out and walked away.

Answer: Chris Nowinski

Spike faced off against Chris Nowinski, who was accompanied by William Regal. Unfortunately, due to Regal's interference, Spike lost when Nowinski pinned him for the win.

Answer: Ric Flair

Ric Flair came to the ring and told the audience that he had found himself after being defeated by Vince McMahon the week before. He said he signed a contract, and that he hoped he could make as great a comeback as Hulk Hogan.

Answer: Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit

As Flair was talking, Eddie Guerrero came out and blamed Flair for Austin walking out. He said that Austin left on Flair's watch and that he blames Flair for not getting the chance to defeat Austin at "King Of The Ring." Then Chris Benoit came out and told Guerrero not to talk to Flair that way, saying that Flair is a legend.

Then all of a sudden Benoit turned on Flair and told him that he also blames Flair for Austin leaving, saying that he wouldn't get the chance to do to Austin what Austin did to him, break his neck.

Then Guerrero knocked Flair down and put him in a "Figure Four Leg Lock" as Benoit looked on.

Answer: Tony Garea

During intervals throughout the show Vince was on the phone with his lookout man, Tony Garea. Garea was posted at the airport and was to report to Vince if "he" came. When Garea called Vince to let him know that "he" was coming, Vince assumed that Garea was talking about Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Answer: Molly Holly and Crash Holly

Trish Stratus and D'Lo Brown faced off against Molly and Crash Holly in an Intergender Match. Molly and Crash lost when D'Lo gave Crash the "Sky High" and pinned him for the win.

Answer: Matt Hardy

The Undertaker faced off against Matt Hardy in a Non Title Match. Matt fought hard, but wasn't a match for Taker. Taker physically abused the smaller man, and ending up giving him a chokeslam. Way to go taker!

Answer: Jeff Hardy and Raven

As Taker was physically abusing Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy came in for the save. Jeff ambushed Taker, knocking him flat. Then Jeff prepared himself for the "Swanton Bomb," which never came to be because Raven flew in and made the save. Raven pushed Jeff off the top turnbuckle, then dragged Jeff into the ring where he handcuffed Jeff to the top rope.

Then Taker taught Jeff a lesson about respect, while Raven had Matt in a submission hold, making him look at his younger brother getting assaulted. Way to go Taker!

Answer: Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar faced off against Booker T in the second "King of The Ring" Quarter Final Match. Brock won when he gave Booker the "F5" and pinned him for the win.

Answer: Goldust

After the nWo interfered and assaulted Booker, knocking him flat, Goldust came to Booker's aide. He tried to wake his friend up so they could leave, but the nWo wasn't going to have that. They attacked Goldust, too, leaving him unconscious.

Answer: The Rock

All night long, Vince thought the "he" that Garea was talking about was Stone Cold Steve Austin, but in reality, the "he" was The Rock. The Rock made a comeback after being away for a few months to make the movie "The Scorpion King."
