Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. These twins made their debut in television's "Full House" as Michelle Tanner. Can you name these twins?

Answer: Mary-Kate and Ashley

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were both born on June 13, 1986 in Sherman Oaks, California. They soared to stardom in their first television series, "Full House", as the youngest Tanner child. They went on to star in "It Takes Two" with Kirstie Alley. As twins know, it's hard to separate from your twin.

They do everything together, including getting their Star on the Walk of Fame. They received their joint Star on April 29, 2004. I see a long future in movies with these two beautiful ladies.
2. Not quite married, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell got together in 1983 as a couple. Can you name a movie they were NOT in together?

Answer: Best Friends

In "Overboard", Goldie Hawn played the role of Joanna Stayton; however, Kurt Russell noticed that she had amnesia and decided to make her his wife, to repay a small debt. I liked the end of this movie where they are swimming towards each other. They ended up falling in love, even after she knew that she wasn't his wife.
Burt Reynolds starred with Goldie in "Best Friends". Kurt was not in "Best Friends", but he was in "Swing Shift" and "One and Only" with Goldie.
3. Carl Fox tried to help his son, Bud, in this drama about Wall Street. Unfortunately, Bud didn't listen to dad in the beginning. Who is this father/son team in the movie "Wall Street"?

Answer: Martin and Charlie Sheen

Martin Sheen played in the television show "The West Wing", while his son Charlie Sheen had a role in "Spin City". Martin's real name was Ramon Estevez. Wait just a second, isn't that your son Emilio Estevez? Yes it is!
4. "Here's a story, of a lovely lady..." Okay, enough with the "Brady Bunch" theme already. Demi Moore and Bruce Willis have three lovely daughters together. We saw Rumer acting in "Striptease" with mom. Her sister, Tallulah, was a Buttercup Scout in what movie, with her dad, Bruce?

Answer: The Whole Ten Yards

Bruce and Demi have three daughters together, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. Bruce has said that "He's much more proud of being a father, than being an actor." I truly believe this, he seems like a wonderful father. If you have ever heard him talking about his children, he just glows!
5. This couple had their own television show together. They danced a little bit, they sang a little bit, and they even brought their daughter on stage a little bit. Who were the stars of this hit comedy hour in 1971?

Answer: Sonny and Cher

I loved watching this family comedy show. Sonny and Cher would make jokes and just look like they were having a great time. They had many guest stars over the few years, including Tony Curtis and the Jackson brothers. But they did enjoy bringing Chastity out on stage also.
6. Beau and Jeff Bridges are brothers in real life, but they also played brothers in this lounge singing movie. What is the name of this movie?

Answer: The Fabulous Baker Boys

Jeff and Beau teamed up with Michelle Pfeiffer in this movie. Michelle was nominated for an Oscar for her role as Susie Diamond in this movie. The Bridges family is not short in the entertainment world. Their father was the late, Lloyd Bridges from the hilarious movie, "Airplane".

Some of Beau's children are following in dad's footsteps also. His son, Jordan, has been in a few movies, including "Mona Lisa Smile" with Julia Roberts. Another generation heading upward!
7. "We are family...I got all my sisters and me..." Okay, enough of Sister Sledge! Let's move on to the next family question. Norman Thayer was an old coot! He may have been old, but he still knew how to 'suck face' with his wife, who was portrayed by Kate Hepburn. Who was the father in this movie?

Answer: Henry Fonda

Henry Fonda played the old coot in "On Golden Pond". His real life daughter, Jane Fonda, played his daughter, Chelsea Thayer Wayne. Chelsea and Norman were constantly bickering back and forth. I sort of choked up at the end of this movie when Chelsea went out to the lake. Sort of brings tears to your eyes. The tears really came when Jane picked up her father's Oscar for this role!
8. This hot child star has many brothers and sisters in the movie industry also. His brother, Rory, was in the movie "Signs" with Mel Gibson. His other brother, Kieran, was in the movie "Father of The Bride" with Steve Martin. Who is the famous brother in this family that made a name for himself, as Kevin?

Answer: Macaulay Culkin

Macaulay was one of the richest child stars ever. He soared to all heights in stardom in the movie, "Home Alone". He went on to portray Thomas J. in "My Girl" and then starred in "The Good Son". He earned a small $100,000 for his role of Kevin McCallister for the first "Home Alone" movie. His fee increased to $4,500,000.00 for the second movie. Quite a raise I'd say!
9. Do you remember a television show called "Friends"? It was a great show! There was Phoebe and Monica and Chandler. Coming back to you now? Well, quite a while back, Courteney Cox was married in real life. Her husband appeared on the television show "Friends" as a guest star. Can you tell me the name of the episode that David played Malcolm?

Answer: The One With The Jam

Courteney met her husband, David Arquette, in the movie "Scream", and they were married on June 12, 1999. In an episode of "Friends", after she was married, all the cast and producers added "Arquette" to their names on the credits. How long do you think it'll be before little Coco Riley Arquette will be acting? Coco was born on June 13, 2004, one day after their fifth anniversary. Happy Anniversary!
10. Do you remember "I Love Lucy"? What a great television show that was. There was Ricky, Lucy, Fred, and Ethel. What a gang! Ethel was way too good for Fred! Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz not only worked on television together, but they teamed up for this movie, directed by Vincente Minnelli. What is the name of this movie?

Answer: The Long, Long Trailer

Everybody may love Raymond, but they simply loved Lucy! Lucille was born in New York in 1911. Lucille appeared in many movies through the years, but I remember her most from her television series, "I Love Lucy" in 1951. Lucille went on to star in "The Lucy Show" in 1962 as Lucy Carmichel, and again starred as Lucille Carter in "Here's Lucy". Lucy died in 1989, but she left two beautiful children, Lucie Arnaz and Desi Arnaz, Jr., to follow in her footsteps. No one will ever replace our Lucy!
Thanks for playing, I hope you enjoyed the family times that we had together.
