Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The Fonz was best known for the clicking of his fingers, then women would surrounding him and say "AHHHHH." I would say his second best known characteristic, was his ability to put his thumbs up and say "EHHHHHH." Can you recall his first name in the television show "Happy Days"?

Answer: Arthur

"These happy days are yours and mine..." I love this theme song. Ehhh, back to the facts kid! Henry Winkler was born in beautiful New York. His first major role was in "Happy Days". He sure got lucky with that role, imagine your first role lasting for ten seasons. Henry went on to become a director and a producer in the entertainment field. Ehhhh, not bad Fonz!
2. This television show showed words like, "POW", "BAM", "SOCK", "ZAP" that starred our very own Adam West. What riddling, joking, umbrellas, meowing television show is this?

Answer: Batman

Many hunky dudes have portrayed the character "Batman". From handsome Adam West to Michael Keaton and ohhhhh yes, George "yum yum" Clooney.
My personal favorite would be the 1966 television series. It was stupid, but yet we believed the whole thing. Every "ZAP", every "POW" was so realistic back then. Can you believe those guys used to run around in tights and undies? Ohhhhh my, not today!
3. Doeeee... Rayyyyy... Meeeee... What movie is this?

Answer: The Sound of Music

"Doe, a deer, a female deer, Ray a drop..." This is like the sweetest movie of all time. "Mary Poppins", I'm sorry, Julie Andrews was at her best in the raggy old clothes. What I can't understand. They spend many moments with Julie in the hand me downs and the kids are wearing curtains.

But then you put Julie in this absolutely beautiful wedding gown for 2 seconds. Must be a movie, huh? If you ever get to Salzburg, Austria, make sure you check out the gardens. Absolutely breathtaking view from the top of a fort in the city. You can look down to see where the movie was filmed along the water. Just beautiful!
4. What "Tool Man" uses the sounds of "AR AR AR AR?"

Answer: Tim Allen

Tim Allen created the character "Tim the 'Tool Man' Taylor." This show was perfectly cast. From Al to Jill, even the three boys got along as well as any other brothers would have. Always fighting and arguing and picking on their younger brother. And who could forget Wilson's face. Wilson Wilson's face that is. Actually, his character was named Wilson Wilson Jr., so that means that there was a Wilson Wilson Sr., too? I wonder if Wilson Wilson the third existed?
5. The Fonz wasn't the only character to use the expression "EHHHHH." There was also Mallory's boyfriend, Nick, on another television show. Do you remember the name of this show?

Answer: Family Ties

What a ditzy family this was. I loved this show. It had so much humor in it. I still wonder who the smartest one was in this show. In my opinion, Jennifer was the smartest and the youngest daughter of Elyse and Steven Keaton. Elyse and Steven were pretty much "flower children" from the 60's era.

They had four children. Alex, being the oldest and Republican of the family. Mallory being the "best dressed" of the family. Along popped up Andy Keaton, who made us all smile as the youngest and newest Keaton member. Let's not forget about Nick and his broad vocabulary of "ehhhhhhh."
6. Tony the Tiger says they're _______________?

Answer: GRRRRREAT

You can actually visit Tony in the little town of Battle Creek in Michigan. Tony has been the star of Kellogg's cereal since 1952. Rumor has it that Kellogg's was looking for a new face for their cereal box. In the running was an elephant and a kangaroo. Can you imagine an elephant raising his trunk and saying "They're GRRRRReat!" No way, am I glad Tony won, hands down. Oops, paw down, not to be confused with Pa on the television show "Little House on the Prairie".
7. This brother and sister group sang, "Ahhhhh" all the time in their songs. Who is this delightful family that aired with their "Very First Television Special" in 1976?

Answer: The Carpenters

This brother and sister group could have gone so far "For All We Know". They were so "Close To You" with each song they sang. Ohhhh, I couldn't wait until "Mr. Postman" brought their next record to me every month. But now, "I'll say Goodbye To Love" and Karen Carpenter as well.

The innocent little flower died from a tragic and horrible disease. Actually she died from a heart failure due to her anorexia. She is missed so much by her fans. The Carpenters had many television specials, including "Carpenters Very First Television Special". Karen and Richard actually use the phrase "Ahhhhhh" in all the above mentioned songs.
8. I composed this little number, "Ohhhhh, Ohhhhh, Pretty Woman". Who am I?

Answer: Roy Orbison

Roy Orbison has composed numerous songs in the movies. Including "You Got It" for "Boys On The Side". He even did the title of another flick, "Only the Lonely". Since we're dealing with the sounds, I have tell you, in the movie "Pretty Woman" do you recall Julia Roberts with her "ooh ooh ooh" at the horse's events. If I recall they were playing polo.

But then again, this also sounds like "Tarzan" in the Disney movie too.
9. What soup is considered, MMMM, MMMM, good?

Answer: Campbells Soup

Campbell's Soup Company was originally called Joseph A. Campbell Preserve Company. Tomato soup was introduced in 1897. Cream of Mushroom was not founded until 1934. Many celebrities, including George Burns and Ronald Reagan have been spokesmen for Campbell products. I didn't know that Campbell's bought out Godiva Chocolates in 1966. I love that chocolate. Remember that for your Christmas list for me, okay? You can read more about the history and other information on Campbell's, on their website at www.campbellsoupcompany.com.
10. Our favorite redheaded woman was in "I Love Lucy". She had so many different facial expressions. My absolute favorite is when she knew that she was in trouble and she said "Ewwwwwwww." Before she married Ricky in the television show. What was her maiden name?

Answer: MacGillicuddy

"Da, Da, Da, Dada Da Ta Ta... Da Da Da dada Ta Ta Ta..." This is the theme song for the "I Love Lucy" show. Didn't you know that? If you asked me what my favorite episode was, I couldn't select one. I had so many favorites. From the "chocolate episode" to the "wine stomping" one. I just adored Fred and Ethel too. What a couple they were.

This show will live on and on in our hearts also. In the words of Lucille Ball, "Ewwwwwwwww." Thanks for playing, I hope you enjoyed a look back in the entertainment field.

The next time you hear, "Hello darkness, my old friend. I've come to talk to you again..." Think of my quiz. Awwwww thanks for playing.
