In the show's premiere episode "Lilly, Do You Want to Know a Secret?", Miley and Lilly spot Miley's crush, Johnny Collins (played by Corbin Bleu of "High School Musical" fame) in the cafeteria. Miley is so flustered she accidentally squirts ketchup all over her hand, covering it up by telling Johnny it is an excellent moisturizer. Later, she is too nervous to sit down with him and the seats are taken by the mean girls, Amber and Ashley. Johnny appeared again in the episode "We're All On This Date Together", in which he wins a date with Hannah Montana in a charity auction.

The night is ruined for Hannah, however, when she discovers the auctioneer is making the annoying Rico come to dinner with them. When Miley (as Hannah) tries to get rid of Rico on the date, Johnny storms out when he believes Hannah (whom he doesn't know is actually Miley) is being rude to Rico. Miley (as herself) and Johnny later see each other on the beach, and he is glad to see her, until she pukes right in front of him.

Miley and Lilly read one of Becca's e-mails to Hannah, saying she wants to break up with a guy who really likes her. They think it is Oliver, and they see Becca sitting in the cafeteria holding hands with another good-looking guy. He is bummed when they tell him, as they were supposed to go to the beach later that day.

They later read the e-mail again, and realize the guy in the cafeteria was actually her old boyfriend Toby, and she was breaking up with him. Miley rushes to tell Oliver at the beach before he dumps her, even dressing up as a chicken (thanks to Rico). Miley has to cover up by telling Becca she read her PDA, to avoid blowing the secret that she is Hannah Montana. Interesting to note that two of the answer choices, Toby and Andrew, are the names of two characters from Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night"

Previously in the episode "People Who Use People", Miley had shoved Jake off a ledge after he kissed her and then said he was leaving for four months (although it is later revealed to be six months, a possible continuity error). Jake returns in the two-part episode "Achy Jakey Heart", literally dropping out of the sky with flowers, begging for Miley back.

She is not giving in. Later, Jake comes to her house dressed as a knight in armor, to tell Miley he has not stopped thinking of her. She caves and reveals she has not stopped thinking about him, too.

However, when she asks him to go out that night, he reveals that he has to go to a premiere with his co-star, Marissa, since they are dating for publicity. She concludes he is still the same jerk he was before, and starts beating him with a salami.

Answer: She sees Amber and Ashley flirting with Matt

Lilly is excited to go to the dance with Matt when he asks her. Meanwhile, Miley encourages Lilly to let her give her a makeover, so Matt won't think she is just one of the guys. Lilly hesitates until she sees Amber and Ashley flirting with Matt, and then she agrees.

The next day at school, Lilly has attracted the attention of literally every guy at school, except Matt, who is speechless, especially when Lilly puts more moves on him. The day of the dance, Miley finds a depressed Lilly, who reveals that Matt stood her up. Miley and Lilly decide to sue Matt on one of their favorite shows, "The Teen Court", where guilty parties get food dumped on them. Turns out he had a crush on the old Lilly, and he was weirded out by her "girly" flirting. Matt and Lilly reconcile, although Miley isn't so lucky.

She gets spaghetti dumped on her because she was the one who made Lilly "girly".

Joanie Palumbo first appeared as Lilly's arch-enemy in "Cuffs Will Keep Us Together". In "Joanie B. Goode", it is revealed that she cut Lilly's kite and popped her balloon when they were little, and Lilly apparently still hates her to this day. She starts dating Oliver, who suggests Miley and Lilly invite her to a sleepover to get to know her better.

It doesn't go so well at first, until Lilly and Joanie realize how much they have in common, which annoys Miley, as she fears she is being replaced. Miley tries to play hockey to fit in with them, although it doesn't go very well. Joanie appears again in "Don't Go Breaking My Tooth", where Oliver pretends to be a vegetarian (Joanie is one) to impress Joanie. Rico sells a lot of meat to taunt Oliver, and although Oliver eats meat, Joanie is cool with it. Oliver and Joanie break up in "Papa's Got a Brand New Friend".

Yes indeed, the "Curb Your Enthusiasm" star appears in this episode as himself. He attempts to get into the restaurant with his daughters (after calling at the last minute) by lying and saying it is their birthdays, although the girls catch him. The maitre'd allows Hannah into the restaurant even though she called at the last minute, angering Larry.
Fun fact: Larry David's daughters in this episode are actually his daughters in real life, too.

Answer: Santa's elf

Miley meets Connor at the mall with Lilly and Oliver, and accepts a date with him, although she doesn't notice until he stands up that he is shorter than her, which shocks her. Connor and Miley go to a carnival together, although she ruins their evening by accidentally referring to the differences in their heights.

She attempts to gain a second chance by going to the mall where Connor works, where she discovers he works as Santa's elf (and talks in a very high-pitched elf voice). After dressing up as a reindeer with Lilly, Connor eventually agrees to another date with Miley.

One day at the beach, Miley sees Trey and it feels like they are the only two people on the beach. William and Jennette Harris are opening a playground at the beach, and Miley makes a comment about William being self-absorbed, until it is revealed Trey is their son. Trey later asks Miley out on a date, and Miley agrees, although she is none too thrilled when his parents join them for dinner, and insult her country roots at dinner.

She accidentally reveals she has performed for the Queen of England, almost blowing her secret (Hannah sang for the Queen in "Grandmas Don't Let Their Babies Grow Up to Play Favorites"). To avoid blowing her secret, Miley must convince her dad and Jackson to act British.

At the end of the episode, she reveals it was all an act. Mr. and Mrs. Harris declare they are leaving, although Trey decides to stay, since he is tired of his parents' snobbish attitudes.

Answer: Lilly Truscott

The episode is "Lilly's Mom Has Got It Goin' On". When Miley notices chemistry between Robby and Lilly's mom Heather (Heather Locklear), she and Lilly envision becoming sisters if they get married. The girls try to get them to go out on a date, although when the date doesn't go well, the girls start blaming each other's parents, causing a rift between the best friends.

The date was a failure because Heather insisted on splitting the check, when Robby offered to be a gentleman and pay for her. However, the girls make up in the end.

Answer: "Cheat It"

In "Lilly Do You Want to Know a Secret?", Jackson tries to impress his date at a Hannah Montana concert by saying he knows Hannah Montana (of course, he can't tell her it is his sister Miley). The girl's name is not revealed in this episode.
In "Take This Job and Love It", Jackson pretends to be a professional motocross racer to impress a girl named Julie. He uses the blender, pretending he is working on his bike, although it backfires in the end.
In "Get Down Study-udy-udy", Jackson attempts to impress a girl named Becky (or "brainless, bodacious Becky" as Jackson puts it), by tutoring her in Spanish. However, he is pet-sitting for his friend's parrot, who repeats everything he hears, including the fact that Becky is brainless, leading her to walk out of Jackson's house. He says it again at school to try to get the bird to say something when he thinks it is dead, and Becky, who was going to give him a second chance, overhears him and storms off. Becky would appear again to give Jackson another chance in "Yet Another Side of Me".
Jackson does not try to impress any girls in "Cheat It", although he does consider cheating on a history test. It is up to Miley to convince him otherwise, although she (as Hannah) is pretending to date a self-absorbed country singer she can't stand for publicity.
