The second longest river in Europe is the beautiful, blue, Danube. The Danube runs through ten different countries. It originates in Germany and flows for 1,780 mi. (2,860 km) until it empties itself into the Black Sea.

High in the Dolomite Mountains, in Italy, over 9,000 riders from all over the world congregate to participate in the Maratona dles Dolomites. This strenuous bike race is a one day event and is 87 miles (140km) of ups and downs guaranteed to leave your leg muscles burning at the finish line.

Dettifoss is located in the northeastern part of Iceland where the bitterly cold Jökulsá á Fjöllum River drops off. Located in the Jökulsárgljúfur National Park, this powerful waterfall is often listed as the largest and most powerful waterfall in Europe.
9. I want to go see the Mexican ruins of Dzibilnocac, Dzibilchaltún, and Dzitbalché which are all associated with which famous ancient Mesoamerican culture?

These are all locations of ancient Mayan ruins. Located in southern Mexico, they give a glimpse into one of the most advanced cultures in ancient America. The Mayans had advanced knowledge of astronomy, calendar, and writing, but did not use the wheel or draft animals.

Answer: It is very salty.

A hypersaline lake is a landlocked body of water that has high levels of salt that are much higher than ocean water. It is called the Dead Sea because the high levels of salt keep almost anything from living in it.
