4. What was the name of Amy and Laurie's daughter?

Answer: Elizabeth Laurence

Elizabeth Laurence was the only child of Amy and Laurie. She was named after Amy's deceased sister Elizabeth, commonly known as Beth. 6. Which character dies in this book?

7. Whom was Teddy Bhaer most fond of, after his parents?

Answer: Dan

Teddy was very fond of Dan, the oldest boy in school who was expelled once because he introduced the other students to new and bad habits such as quarrelling, drinking, smoking, etc. But he was given a second chance because Teddy pleaded to his father to keep his favourite 'Danny' and not send him away.
8. Tommy Bangs was the student at Plumfield who played pranks and was the naughtiest.

Answer: True

Thomas Bangs or Tommy Bangs was well known and popular for his pranks and naughtiness. He was very friendly and warm-hearted which made him well loved by all. He was one of Nat Blake's best friends.

Jack Ford was the student who once stole money from Tommy Bangs. The blame was put on Nat and then Dan. He was sent back to Plumfield by his uncle who had given him a good beating.
