Little Miss Chatterbox is always talking too much and ends up getting fired from every job she gets. She constantly talks, letting nobody get a word in. She lives in a house that is actually shaped like a telephone. She finally gets a job telling time, which she does every single second!

Mr. Clumsy is green with a yellow nose and red shoes. He is always breaking things or knocking things over. Once, he fell into a puddle and had to go home to take a bath. Other times, he falls out of his chair when he is eating dinner. Poor Mr. Clumsy is very clumsy!

Little Miss Late was always late so she couldn't get a job. She tried to get a job at the bank once, but by the time she finally got to the bank, it was already closed for the day. Finally, Mr. Lazy hired her because he always does things at the wrong time, which ended up working out for Little Miss Late.

Mr. Uppity is rich and rude. He lives in Bigtown, but since he is so rude they all call him Miserable old Uppity. One day he is rude to a goblin who shrinks Mr. Uppity. Every time Mr. Uppity is rude, he is shrunk even more. Finally he ends up being nice and uses his manners.

Little Miss Shy was always blushing. She is really afraid of absolutely everything and very seldom ever goes out. Eventually she is invited to Mr. Funny's party and he has to go and drag her to the party. She meets Mr. Quiet and ends up having a really fun time.

The Sunday Times, of the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland, held a contest in 2001, for children to create a Mr. Men character. This was to celebrate the 30th anniversary of this wonderful series of books. A little eight year old named Gemma Almond won the contest and her creation raised proceeds for a children's leukemia charity.

Little Miss Naughty always enjoys playing practical jokes on everyone. She liked to knock Mr. Uppity's hat off of his head and she even broke Mr. Clever's glasses. Eventually Mr. Impossible, who could become invisible, would tweak Little Miss Naughty's nose whenever she tried to play a trick. This ended up curing her of her habit of being a naughty trickster.

Mr. Perfect always had a perfect day. Nothing bad ever happened to him because he was absolutely perfect.

Little Miss Neat is very neat and tidy. She lives in Twopin Cottage. One day she is away on a holiday and Mr. Muddle comes to visit her at Twopin Cottage. Finding nobody home, he makes himself some tea and then does not put things back in the right places.

By the time, Little Miss Neat comes home, Mr. Muddle is gone and she sits in her chair only to get poked by silverware that Mr. Muddle left in the chair. She cannot find anything anywhere and probably won't go on holiday next year.

Mr. Grumble was a really angry and cranky little person. He was almost as grumpy as Mr. Grumpy was. He was a little pink character sporting a green hat.
