Answer: Tigerstar

In the book "Code of the Clans" Tigerstar, who was only a kit at the time, was nearly killed by a fox on the ShadowClan border. A ShadowClan patrol saved his life. Tigerkit said "Thanks for rescuing me! ShadowClan will always be my friends! One day I'll help you too!" ~ "Code of the Clans"

It seems like he kept his promise by leading ShadowClan in their time of need.

2. I left for what I thought was justice. And you saved me. Not once; but twice. And then I returned. Though I wish I could have remained with you. Am I Graystripe?

Answer: No

This is a description of Talltail, aka Tallstar.

Talltail left his home clan (WindClan) to take revenge on the cat he thought was responsible for his father's death. On his journey he met a cat named Jake.

The first time Jake saves Talltail is when Talltail had eaten a poisoned rat. Jake ran to get the attention of his two-leg, who took Talltail to the vet to make him feel better.

The second time was when Talltail was about to be attacked by a fox. Jake threw himself in front of the fox so that Talltail had time to prepare and attack.

3. I was given my position quite suddenly. It caught everyone off guard. I took over for my uncle. When he passed away that is. Who am I?

Answer: Onestar

Onestar's mother was Wrenflight. Wrenflight's brother was Tallstar. This makes Tallstar Onestar's uncle.

Onestar was given the position of deputy very suddenly. When the clans arrived at the lake Tallstar was on his last legs. He called Firestar and Brambleclaw to witness the change in deputyship from Mudclaw to Onewhisker. When Tallstar passed away, Onestar took over as leader of WindClan.

4. I am the kind one. I took in my little brother When he was injured and cast out. I lost the cat I loved to my brother. I took in my nephew When his father didn't want him. Who am I?

Answer: Gray Wing

Gray Wing is one of the tribe cats. We first meet him in "Warriors: Dawn of the Clans - The Sun Trail".

Gray Wing has two brothers: Jagged Peak and Clear Sky. Jagged Peak and Clear Sky went to live in the forest when they reached their new home, while Gray Wing chose to live on the moors in their new home.

Jagged Peak was injured and Clear Sky cast him out of his clan. Clear Sky had kits with Gray Wing's love, Storm; but didn't want his son when he found out Storm had died.

5. I was one of the cats that helped drive Brokenstar out of his (and my) clan. I share the name of a cat who was murdered in the new territories by the lake. Who am I?

Answer: Ashfur

We only see Ashfur from ShadowClan once in the books. Ashfur helps Firepaw, Graypaw, Whitestorm, Yellowfang, Runningwind, and Darkstripe fight to rid ShadowClan of their tyrant leader: Brokenstar. Ashfur is a thin, dark gray tom.

6. I am very proud of my sons. I mentored one of them. The other took my place when I joined StarClan. Who am I?

Answer: Shellheart

Shellheart's sons were Oakheart and Crookedstar. Shellheart trained Oakheart to be a warrior, and Crookedstar took over the deputyship from Shellheart when he died.

Shellheart was a dappled gray tom.

7. The tribe are my kits. That's what I tell myself. Although I have known love, He had to leave for the good of the clans. Who am I?

Answer: Half Moon

Half Moon's love was Jay's Wing (Jayfeather). He convinced her and the rest of the tribe to travel to the mountains and make their home up there.

We hear Half Moon telling Gray Wing in "The Sun Trail" that she has known love and that the entire tribe were her kits.

Half Moon is a white she-cat with dark green eyes.

8. I have a bloody past. Two of my brothers chose a violent future. My other brother and I turned out backs on them. I now have a peaceful life. Who am I?

Answer: Violet

Violet was born into BloodClan, but her mother drove her and her three brothers off.

Violet and her brother Barley escaped BloodClan, but Scourge sent their two remaining brothers to kill Violet and Barley.

Violet got badly injured and was taken in by some twolegs (humans). That's where she lives to this day.

9. I come from a very old clan. Two leaders did not tell me about the second beast. They felt so ashamed that they gave my clan run of the river. Who am I?

Answer: Fleetfoot

Fleetfoot is a cat from the ancient LeopardClan.

This leopardess agreed to kill the dangerous boar called Rage in exchange for LeopardClan having hunting rights in the river for one moon (month).

She does manage to kill Rage; but she didn't know that the boar's mate (Fury) would try to take revenge.

This story can be found in the book "Secrets of the Clans".

10. My son was only a kit when he died. Many kits died during this leadership, But not many died in battle. In that way his death was unique. Am I Fernshade?

Answer: Yes

Fernshade is rarely mentioned in the "Warrior Cats" series by Erin Hunter. She is found in only two books: "Code of the Clans" and "Yellowfang's Secret".

Her son Badgerpaw fought and died in a battle with WindClan. This was during the time when Brokenstar was training kits at the age of 3 moons (months). He was still only a kit when he died.
