Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the card game hearts, how many points is the Queen of Spades worth?

Answer: 13

All hearts are worth 1 point. However, if you collect all hearts as well as the Queen of Spades, you 'shoot the moon' and your score is 0.
2. At McDonald's, how many chicken nuggets would you get if you ordered an original value chicken nugget meal with fries and a drink?

Answer: 6

You already get fries with that.
3. Which United Flight crashed in the Pennsylvania field on September 11, 2001?

I highly encourage you to read Lisa Beamer's "Let's Roll". It is an amazing personal account of the tragic and heroic flight.
4. In the television series "Boy Meets World", how many siblings does Cory Mathews have by the show's end?

Answer: three

Cory's older brother Eric and his younger sister Morgan were joined by Joshua before the show ended.
5. How many people were rescued from the Titanic after it sank in April, 1912?

Answer: 705

The survivors were picked up by the Carpathia. Another interesting fact - only one child from first class did not survive. Two-year-old Loraine Allison perished with her parents. They were searching the ship for Loraine's baby brother, who had been taken to a lifeboat by their nurse. Sadly, they did not realize this until it was too late.
6. On country singer Kenny Chesney's album "No Shoes No Shirt No Problems", which track is "Big Star"?

Answer: 5

"Young" is track #1. #4 is "The Good Stuff," and "Dreams" is #8.
7. Bob Hope was how old when he died?

Answer: 100

The nation lost a true legend when Hope died in July, 2003.
8. A cd titled "Beatles 1" included many hit songs from the group. How many hit tracks were included?

Answer: 27

9. In which "Lethal Weapon" does Joe Pesci first appear?

And just in case this ever comes up sometime:
12 gross equals 1 great gross.

There are 206 named bones in an adult human skeleton.

14. Which amendment to the United States Constitution deals with Congressional salaries and their power to change them?

Answer: 27

This amendment was originally proposed on September 25, 1789 by James Madison; however, it was not added to the Constitution until May 7, 1992. (I had to do a report over this my freshman year - not the easiest amendment to report on. There's very limited information on it!) This was possible because Congress never set a time limit on the ratification of the amendment.
15. In American football, how many points are awarded to a team when they get a safety (sacking the quarterback in his own end zone)?

Answer: 2

A touchdown is worth 6 points, and the extra point kick is worth 1. If the offense tries to run the ball in after a touchdown and is successful, they are also given 2 points. A field goal is worth 3.
