The city of York, Northern Yorkshire, England is the birth place of the infamous Guy Fawkes (1570-1606). The city was also bombed during WWII as part of the Baedeker Blitz. Yaounde is the capital city of the African nation, Cameroon and Yerevan is the capital city of Armenia.

Yellow Tang is a saltwater fish species which was first described by the English naturalist, Edward Turner Bennett in 1828 in the Hawaiian Islands. It is most commonly seen in aquariums. He was the voice of Scrooge McDuck for Walt Disney studios from 1974-2016. Steve Young (b. 1961) is a former NFL professional football quarterback. He spent 15 years as a player but mainly with the San Francisco 49ers (1987-1999) were he won three Super Bowl Championships (1989, 90 and 95). John Young (1930-2018) was an American astronaut who became the ninth man to walk on the Moon in 1972. Gig Young (1913-1988) was an American actor who won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in the 1969 movie "They Shoot Horses, Don't They!".
