Answer: University of Strathclyde

Founded in 1796 as Anderson's Institution (after John Anderson), the university went through a number of changes before officially becoming the University of Strathclyde in 1964.

The City Chambers, the headquarters of Glasgow City Council, is over 100 years old and Glasgow`s finest example of 19th Century architecture.
