Answer: Skegness

Ronans Magna was created by John Simmonds. He started in 1961 and the village opened in 1963. The village is built on a scale of 1/16. It has around 38 buildings and 400 "inhabitants". It covers around half an acre.
2. Which model village is more a model world with recreations of landmarks such as The Statue of Liberty and Taj Mahal?

Answer: World in Miniature

The World in Miniature is in Goonhavern in Cornwall. It is set in a 12 acre park and as well as landmarks of the world in miniature it has gift shops and over 70,000 plants and shrubs.

Answer: Great Yarmouth

Merrivale is built on a scale of one inch to one foot and covers an acre of landscaped gardens. As well as the buildings there is a miniature railway and remote controlled boats.
4. Which model village is in Lodmoor Country Park?

Answer: Weymouth Model World

Weymouth Model World was opened in 1972. It has a model railway which was opened in 1991. It is split into many "villages" such as Nevergissey, Castletown and Fendlewick. It also has a model of Weymouth Airport, something that does no exist in real size!
5. Where is Bondville?

Answer: Sewerby

Bondville is in Sewerby near Bridlington. It covers an area of one acre and has over 200 buildings and 1,000 figures.

Answer: Babbacombe Model Village

Babbacombe Model Village is in Torquay and was opened in 1963. It was created by Tom Dobbins and was the second model village he'd created, the first being in Southport in 1957. It has over 400 buildings, thousands of figures and 1,000 feet of model railway.

Answer: Bekonscot

Bekonscot was created by Roland Callington and opened in 1929. It depicts life in rural England in the 1930s. It covers one and a quarter acres and has a model railway meandering through six little villages.

Answer: Blackpool Model Village

Blackpool Model Village covers two and a half acres in Stanley Park. It opened more than 30 years ago and also has a gift shop and tea room.

Answer: Corfe Model Village

Corfe Model Village was created by Eddie Holland between 1964 and 1966. It depicts the same area it's situated in but from over 450 years ago.
