This was the end of the Jacobite Rebellion, which if you look at the numbers in the armies was largely a battle between the Highlands and Lowlands of Scotland.
8. What year was the Battle of Trafalgar?

Answer: 1805

This was heralded as Nelson's greatest victory, but as he died during it, uttering the immortal words "Kiss me, Hardy", he wasn't able to improve on it.
9. What year was the Battle of Waterloo?

Answer: 1815

It is a cardinal sin to confuse the dates of the Battles of Trafalgar and Waterloo, as one was a victory for the army, and the other for the navy!

Answer: 1912

This famous event was the subject of the brilliant, and well-titled film 'Titanic', starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. One of my top three favourite films, incidentally!
