Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which activity requires Cranium Clay?

Answer: Sculptorades

In the Sculptorades activity, one player takes the Cranium Clay and makes the item listed on the back of the card. Like always, the player is timed during the task and the rest of the players on the team get a vague hint as to what the thing is. This activity is rarely, if ever, a Club Cranium activity. During the activity, the player with the clay can not make any gestures or sounds in order to ensure that the guess is based entirely on the player's sculpting and artistic abilities.
2. What is not a possible Star Performer question?

Answer: Blankout

Star Performer activities test a player's acting, singing, and performing abilities as well as players' knowledge of music and films. This doesn't necessarily mean that every thing will relate to media though, because a person may have to act out different actions or act like an object. Blankout is a Word Worm question, so your language skills are tested through it instead.
3. What does a Polygraph question include?

Answer: A true/false question

Polygraph is a Data Head question, so actual trivia knowledge is needed. Since it is a Data Head question, you can be certain that it won't be a Club Cranium question. During a Polygraph, you will either be given a diagram, statement, or picture, and you'll simply need to say whether it's true or false. It isn't as easy as it sounds.
4. What's the difference between a Cloodle and a Sensosketch?

Answer: You draw with your eyes closed in Sensosketch

Cloodle and Sensosketch are the other two Creative Cat questions (the first being Sculptorades). Creative Cat questions, like Star Performer activities, usually have the tendency to be Club Cranium questions. In Cloodle, one team member will need to draw something with the supplied pencils and pad of paper without gestures or talking.

The same thing applies to Sensosketch, but it gets a bit harder. You'll have your eyes closed if you draw in a Sensosketch. Like always, the activity will be timed, and the guessing players will receive a vague clue.
5. How does one take the Fast Track on the board?

Answer: Answer a question on a brain correctly on the first try

On the board, there are two tracks between each brain. The shorter one, with four spaces (one of each colour), is called the Fast Track, while the long one with eight spaces (two of each colour) will be the Scenic Route. If you're on a brain and you answer your question correctly on your first turn (on that brain), you can advance on the Fast Track.

The space you land on is the same colour as the card you correctly guessed.
6. Who is the mascot for the blue questions?

Answer: Creative Cat

Creative Cat is on the cover of the blue box, the back of the blue cards, and on the blue area of the board. Star Performer is the head of the green performance-based questions, Data Head is the red, trivial mascot of the more knowledge-based questions, and Word Worm is the mascot of the yellow, language-based questions.

These four colours are also on the dice and they're the colours of the player pieces.
7. What is Cranium Central?

Answer: A brain

Cranium Central is the large brain in the center of the board. Once you've made your way around the board, the game isn't quite over yet. You have to collect one of each coloured card on different turns before you can enter the brain in the center. When you've gotten these four cards, the other team(s) will need to choose a box for your final question.

When you get a final question correct, you've won the game.
8. The makers of "Cranium" also released a "Turbo Edition" for a shorter game. What is not a new activity in the game?

Answer: Gnilleps

Zooma was a Creative Cat activity featuring three zoomed-in pictures. To complete the task, players needed to determine what was in the pictures.
Odd Couple was a Data Head puzzle where five choices were given. Players had to determine which two were the 'odd couple' in the bunch.
Mindmeld was a Word Worm activity where two players on a team are given a topic and they need to write down three things relating to the topic. If they match one answer, they win the card.
Other activities in the new game were Team Gnilleps (in Word Worm) and Sideshow and Starstruck (both for Star Performer). Blankout, Gnilleps, and Spellbound were removed from the Word Worm deck and Copycat was removed from the Star Performer deck. The rest of the original game's puzzles remained in the game.
9. Which is not a Word Worm activity?

Answer: Factoid

Factoid is a Data Head question where players simply need to answer a question without choices given. Word Worm has the largest variety of puzzles in the game. In Spellbound and Gnilleps, teams need to choose a member to spell a word (although in Gnilleps the word needs to be spelled backwards).

In Zelpuz, team members must unscramble an anagram, and in Blankout, players are given a phrase/word with letters missing. In Lexicon, teams are given a word and four possible definitions. If they guess the right one, they win. Word Word questions are barely Club Cranium questions.
10. What's different about a Club Cranium question?

Answer: All teams play

Club Cranium questions are extremely common in Star Performer activities like Humdinger and Creative Cat activities like Sensosketch. In a Club Cranium question, if a team correctly guesses the answer, they get to roll the die and move to the space that they roll.

After this, the game resumes with the team after the one that chose the Club Cranium card. Club Cranium questions never appear in Word Worm and Data Head decks.
