Since 1992 Mattel has stated that they will be trying to eliminate PVC in packaging. I told the world that "the children who love me deserve toys that don't leave a toxic legacy for the planet".

Talking Barbie was manufactured in Mexico in the 70s and her legs were always coming off due to a design flaw. To buy a Talking Barbie now in mint condition and with her legs still attached is extremely rare.
