Everyone Loves "Pay Day" Trivia Quiz

Here's a quiz about the game "Pay Day", for the 1994 version. I'm a game fanatic who is always the one who reads the rules for new games. But I'll try to keep it simple, by not focusing too much on the rules.

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Where on the board are the Lottery spaces located?

Answer: right side

They're all on the last day of the week, Saturday. My family usually picks 6 because it's rolled almost all the time.
2. How many day spaces are there on the board?

Answer: 31

I haven't played this game in a while so I would have probably gotten this one wrong, thinking that most months have only 30 days. Which is, of course, incorrect.
3. How many Yard Sale Deal spaces are there?

Answer: one

The Yard Sale Deal space allows you to buy whatever Deal was placed there for only $100 x the roll of the die. What a bargain! I love this space!
4. Where does the money go that you have to pay when you land on Food for the Month, Super Ski Sunday or the two charity spaces (1994 version)?

Answer: Jackpot

Whoever rolls a six when it's time for them to move wins whatever's in the Jackpot.
5. How much interest do you pay on all Monster Charges?

Answer: 10%

All Monster Charge interest works out to be 10%, but it is listed on each card as the dollar value. In other words, the $4000 Monster Charge states $400 in interest, the $3000 Monster Charge says $300 interest, and the $1000 is $100 interest. There are no other Monster Charge cards.
6. When are the Bills due?

Answer: when you reach Pay Day

All cards entitled "Bill" are held onto until you reach Pay Day at the end of the month. I wish they were due when pigs fly.
7. How much do you have to ante to participate in Lottery?

Answer: $100

The $1000 ante is what the bank is required to ante. Your life savings is what you ante at real life casinos. :-)
8. There are mail cards that allow you to move to certain spaces to sell your Deal.

Answer: True

The cards state "Move Ahead to the Next Deal or Buyer space NOW". So you have the option of going to a Buyer space to sell your Deal, or going to a Deal space to buy a new Deal.
9. What number do you have to roll to win the Radio Phone-In Contest (1994 version)?

Answer: 3

I remember playing a couple times where everyone rolled for two or three rounds before someone finally rolled a 3.
10. The amount each player gets in the beginning of the game is the same amount as each gets on PayDay.

Answer: True

Yes, both are $3500. So you get $3500 to start the game and $3500 at the end of each month.
