Answer: Valenciana, Mixta, Negra, Vegetal, Marisco

Valenciana, Mixta, Negra, Vegetal, Marisco.

Paella Valenciana is made with rice, chicken pork and rabbit.
Paella Mixta is made with rice and both seafood and meat.
Paella Negra is with seafood and rice that has been soaked in squid ink.
Paella Vegetal is the vegetarian variety with only rice and vegetables.
Finally Paella de Marisco is rice with only seafood.
2. What is the name of a type of sausage that is traditional in Cataluņa?

Answer: Fuet

Fuet is a dry, thin, sausage made of pork and it is very tasty.
Pølse is the Norwegian word for sausage. Chorizo is also Spanish but not exclusively. You can also find it in Portugal and South American countries,and Salchicha just means sausage in spanish.

Answer: An omelette made with potatoes, eggs, oil and sometimes onions

The Spanish tortilla, or "Tortilla Espaņola" is an omelette dish made mostly with potatoes, as well as eggs and oil and sometimes onions.
The thin bread made with corn or wheat is also called a tortilla, but it is the Mexican tortilla, not the Spanish one.

Answer: Tapas

Tapas are basically small portions of different foods to snack on. There are many many different types of tapas, depending on where you are in Spain.

Answer: Turron

Turron is a traditional Christmas gift and is eaten as a dessert or snack. The most famous type in Spain is the kind which is made in the mountains of Xixona, in Alicante.
There are two main types which are soft turron, which is very sweet, and hard turron. The hard one is my favourite :)

Romeritos is a traditional dish from Mexico.

Chocolate con Churros consists on a mug of hot chocolate in which you dip a local kind of bun, which in my opinion is quite delicious.

Answer: The hind quarters

Serrano Ham comes from the hind quarters. Often they cure the whole hind leg and sell it for each family to go slicing. It is a traditional Christmas-time delicacy.

It's a very rich bean stew made with white beans, pig shoulder, black pudding and chorizo, eaten mostly in winter as it's a hot and heavy dish.

Answer: Roscon de Reyes

The "Roscon de Reyes" celebrates the time when the Three wise kings visit Jesus and bring him gifts. It is very similar to Christmas for Spanish children as they get gifts at this time too!
The "Roscon" is a big circular bun with a hole in the centre, and with glaceed fruits decorating it. Inside it there are two objects baked into it: a figurine and a bean. He who finds the figurine wears the crown that comes with it, and he who gets the bean pays for the bun.
