Different from a three person game in that a card is not dealt to the crib in this instance.
7. After the card(s) are put into the crib in a two player game, who cuts the cards?

The eldest hand is the player to the left of the dealer. There is no referee in Cribbage.

A lot of people say "Cut Card" but it is the "Start Card" in the rules.

10. When you get two points for having the Jack cut in the deck, it is referred to as getting "two for his nobs".

Answer: False

"One for his nob" (still a valid play and worth one point) is when you have the Jack in your hand that is the same suit as the start card.
11. One of your opponents exclaims "Gosh, another nineteen hand". How many points will they actually score for that hand?

Answer: Zero

Nineteen is the lowest point total you cannot actually hold in cribbage. As such, cribbage players colloquially and sarcastically refer to a worthless zero-point hand as a nineteen. Zero is the fifth most common hand score with just under 8% of hands being worth nothing.

Answer: 13

A, 2, 3, 4 is a run for four... K, 4, A is two for fifteen... K, 3, 2 is two for fifteen, and the 5 spades are worth five points.
13. Let's say that you have a 2 of hearts, 9 of hearts, 10 of hearts, and K of spades. The card that was cut is a Queen of diamonds. How many points do you have?

Answer: zero

A lot of high cards but not worth anything in this example.
14. You have in your hand a 5 of clubs, 5 of hearts, 5 of spades, and Jack of diamonds. A five of diamonds was cut in the deck. How many points do you have?

Answer: 29

Yes, this is the highest scoring points combination in the game of Cribbage.
15. Tired of counting? Me too... we'll slack off from that for the last question in the "Cribbage Quiz" and go with something a little easier. How many points is a run of three cards worth?

Answer: 3

A run is three, four, or sometimes even five cards that fall in sequential numerical order. Did you do well? Hope so... good luck with your other quizzes!
