1. When was the Pepsi brand trademarked?

Answer: 1903

Pepsi was invented by a pharmacist, Caleb Bradham. It was originally intended to cure stomach pain. Pepsi-Cola was trademarked on June 16th, 1903
2. What is true about Diet Pepsi?

Answer: No sugar and zero calories

Diet Pepsi is the most popular Pepsi variation. Its taste is recognizable and you can easily see the difference with its powder blue can.
3. Wild Cherry Pepsi was reformulated in 2005. What else was changed in the Cherry Pepsi family?

Answer: Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi became widely available

The variation was introduced in 1988 to compete with Cherry Coke. The Diet version became easy to find in 2005.
4. What largely advertised new Pepsi variation was introduced in 2002?

Answer: Pepsi Blue

It was in my opinion the most disgusting Pepsi ever! It was fruity and had much more sugar than regular Pepsi. It was withdrawn in 2004.
5. What lemon/lime flavored soft drink did PepsiCo launch in 2001 to compete with 7-Up and rival Coca-Cola's Sprite?

Answer: Sierra Mist

Sierra Mist was launched in 2001 but became available all across the US in 2003. The Diet version has been renamed Sierra Mist Free. It became so popular (partly because of a large advertising campaign, especially during SuperBowl XXXVII) that it surpassed 7-Up in sales in 2004. The United States is the only market where 7-Up's rights don't belong to Pepsi.
6. In which country was Pepsi banned for over 20 years?

Answer: India

In 1970, Pepsi refused to give its list of ingredients and Indian officials kept them from importing. The ban was lifted in 1993.
7. In the early 21st century NASCAR seasons, Jeff Gordon ran a Pepsi paint scheme in which two Nextel Cup Series events?

Answer: Talladega & Daytona

Other Pepsi spokespersons include David Beckham, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Janet Jackson, the Spice Girls, S Club 7, Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé Knowles, Shakira, and many others.
8. Pepsi ONE, a one-calorie alternative to Diet soft drinks, was reformulated in 2005. The brand came with a new packaging and a massive new ad campaign. What exactly did Pepsi change in the product?

Answer: Used Splenda

The Pepsi ONE variety was based on Pepsi Max, another sugar-free drink marketed by Pepsi in other countries. When Pepsi revised ONE's formula, Coca-Cola answered with Coca-Cola Zero, only a few months later.
9. Pepsi Twist, launched in 2001, was considered by many to be a commercial fiasco. But the drink became very popular in a South American country. Which one?

Answer: Brazil

In Brazil, Pepsi Twist was made with lime instead of lemon. It was so popular, Pepsi even marketed a variation, Pepsi Twistao, with an even bolder taste of lime.
10. In the mid-1990's, Pepsi tested coffee tasting variations like Pepsi Kona in small regions of which US state?

Answer: Pennsylvania

Testing between 1994 and 1996 was mostly in the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania. Other coffee Pepsi brands were tested in Bulgaria, Romania and Malaysia.
