"The Game of Life", Part I Trivia Quiz

This is my first created quiz. This is for the 1990s version of "Life", not the version some 20 years ago which didn't have the various cards (like Salary and Career) and had more playing pieces. True fans who know the rules should do well.

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. How many car playing pieces are there (2017 edition)?

Answer: 6

The original game I had (no idea of the copyright date) had about nine or ten car playing pieces, including pink. I once played a marathon game using all the cars and imaginary friends (was real bored that day).
2. Which of the following is NOT an amount listed on any Salary Card, in the game of Life?

Answer: $5,000

The salary you could have ranges from $20,000 to $100,000, in increments of $10,000.
3. Which of the following is NOT a career choice listed on any card?

Answer: Movie Star

I guess Superstar would be the closest thing to Movie Star, but the Superstar picture shows members of a musical group only.
4. How much does it cost for Automobile Insurance?

Answer: $10,000

It's your choice whether or not to buy Auto Insurance, but if you land on certain spaces without it, you have to pay.
5. If you buy Stock, you collect money when anyone spins your number.

Answer: True

You collect $10,000 when anyone spins your number, including yourself.
6. What do the blue spaces mean?

Answer: that these are optional spaces

There are several spaces that allow you to spin again if not in the lead, but they're colored orange, as are most of the spaces.
7. How many Life Tiles are placed at Millionaire Estates in the beginning of the game?

Answer: four

This instruction is in the first section of the Setting Up directions.
8. How many spaces are there to land on with the Police Officer symbol?

Answer: one

There's only one because the Police Officer gets money every time an opponent spins a 10 (for speeding).
9. What should you consider when deciding whether to go to Millionaire Estates or Countryside Acres?

Answer: having the most money

If you think you have the most money, go to Millionaire Estates. If not, Countryside Acres. Life Tile value doesn't come into play until the very end of the game, when everyone reaches the end. House value doesn't mean squat!
10. What is the value of each bank loan slip?

Answer: $20,000

When paying back the loan, you also pay 25% interest (what a scam!), no matter when you pay it back. Thus, for each bank loan slip you have, you pay back $25,000
