Answer: Persephone

Persephone was the daughter of Zeus and Demeter. When Persephone was taken to be with Hades, Demeter became upset and killed the land. After seeing her mother's destruction, Persephone developed a deal between her parents and Hades. For six months out of the year, Persephone would live with her parents and the land would flourish because of Demeter's happiness. For the other six months, Persephone would live with Hades and Demeter's sadness would cause the land to die. Once Persephone became Hades' bride, no one ever said her name for fear that they would be killed.

Answer: Menelaus

Menelaus was the king of Sparta when he married Helen. They had a daughter named Hermione. The story goes that Helen was either taken by Paris or went along willingly. When Menelous found Helen gone, he begged his brother for help. A wooden horse was built and soldiers put inside of it.

The gift was delivered to the city of Troy and when it was brought inside the gate, Menelous and Agamemnon's men came out of the horse and destroyed the men in the city.

Aeneas was one of the sons of Venus. He carried his father, Anchises, on his back all the way to Carthage where they met up with Aeneas' son. Unfortunately, Aeneas' wife didn't survive. While living in Carthage, Aeneas fell in love with Dido. When Aeneas left Carthage, Dido became so upset she committed suicide.

When Theseus was sent to kill a Minotaur, Ariadne gave him a sword and ball of thread. Theseus cut off the Minotaur's head with the sword and used the thread as a guide to return to Ariadne.

Orpheus was married to Eurydice. When she died, Orpheus realized he couldn't live without her and went to Hades to retrieve her. Hades told Orpheus that he could have Eurydice as long as he never looked back while taking Eurydice above. While going back home, Orpheus looked back at Hades and immediately, Eurydice was taken back to Hades and Orpheus never saw her again.

Icarus was the son of Daedalos. He and his father were held prisoner in Crete by King Minos. The escape plan worked until Icarus became too confident and got too close to the sun. The sun melted the wax that held the wings together and Icarus fell to his death.

After my mortal body died, I became an immortal and remarried.
