Maul was a Zabrak. The horns on his head were natural, but his tattoos were not. They were painful Sith tattoos that he has all over his body as a sign of how true he was to the dark side of the Force.

Answer: Pilegias

Obi-Wan was born on Pilegias, but was found as a very young boy on the planet of Kelchase. He was then given by his parents to the Jedi Order.
