Smaug was slain by Bard in the year 2941 third age when he attacked Esgaroth.
2. Where were the dwarfcities Belegost and Nogrod?

Answer: Ered Luin

Belegost was destroyed in the end of the first age. The dwarves were friends of Thingol of Doriath and helped him in the first of six battles in the Wars of Beleriand.
The dwarves of Nogrod did business with Beleriand and got orders from the Elves and probably the order to extend Menegroth. Their greatest creation was the Nauglamķr. Nogrod was destroyed in the same battle as Belegost.
3. Which is the highest mountain of Arda?

Answer: Taniquetil

The Taniquetil is in the eastern Aman at the sea, and it's the home of Manwe and Varda. The top of the Taniquetil is covered up with eternal snow and is seen from a great distance.

The mountain of the eye is at the south end of Nen Hithoel at the west bank of the Anduin. On the top of Amon Hen is the seat of seeing.

This is a grey, jagged hilly land at both sides of the Anduin. Frodo and Sam met Gollum there and made him lead them to Mordor.

Udūn is a plain in Mordor between the Carach Angren and Cirith Gorgor.
The Morannon is the exit of Mordor called the Black Gate where Aragorn and his army went in the last battle against Mordor, while the One Ring was destroyed.
