The Doki (Angry Demons), were three big, powerful creatures, each equipped with different weapons. In representation of the three wise monkeys, all three of them had their eyes and ears covered and their mouths sewn shut. Tayuya, while playing on her flute, was able to control them.

They were twin brothers, of which Ukon was the slightly older one. They were able to merge with one another, even with other people, by using their Kekkei Genkai (Bloodline Limit), which was never actually given a name.

Although Ukon was sleeping most of the time, he would always help out his brother during a fight, by using their Kekkei Genkai techniques. This allowed them to throw punches and kicks while being merged, an attribute which made them quite challenging when it came to close combat.

Orochimaru created this technique because his body was not strong enough to handle Sage Mode. This way he could use his Senjutsu (Sage techniques), by giving it to others, with the help of Jūgo's Kekkei Genkai (Bloodline Limit) that allowed him to passively absorb natural energy.

Dance of the Willow (Yanagi no Mai), is a short-range technique, during which Kimimaro produces long bone blades out of his palms, elbows, shoulders and knees for piercing his targets.

The spirits was Tayuya's technique, called the Revolt of the Demon World (Makyō no Ran). These worm-like spirits were made by Chakra, mostly spiritual energy. Now, Chakra is made by both spiritual and physical energies, and the absence of physical energy made them hunt for it, endlessly.

Using his Shadow-Neck Binding technique (Kage-Kubishibari no Jutsu), Shikamaru broke his own finger. The pain caused by it let him escape from the Genjutsu. This is a Hidden technique, passed down from generation to generation in the Nara Clan, developed from the Shadow Imitation technique.
