When Seagram arrived at the widow's home in Leisure World, he was surprised to find that Mrs. Hobart was now Mrs. Austin. In fact, she had been married to a Bertrum Austin for 62 years. Seagram asked her whether or not she had contacted the war department and she said she had written them several times. But, the government kept insisting on send her her widow's pension. Who was she to argue?

Answer: Leadville

Adeline said that she and Jake met during a blizzard that struck Leadville just as she was heading into the station with her parents. Jake happened upon her and her mother walking to the store and helped them by picking them up and dropping them off in front of the store. They dated all through the blizzard and, after the storm was over, Jake proposed.

Professor Barshov and Captain Prevlov were discussing the idea of how this mine on Netvia Zemblia came to be about. Barshov suggested that possibly the old Okrona (secret police of the Czars) may have something on it seeing as how it was made in the early 1900's.

He also stated to Prevlov that some nickel and zinc were found as well as Uranium, Thorrium, and Byzanium. Since Byzanium is not well known and there is such a small quantity, there is not much written about it at all.
9. What was the President supposed to be doing when Dana arrived?

Answer: golfing

Dana was supposed to come to the White House because the President said he needed to know what the model of the ship was. It had no name on the hull of it or the cover. Dana, thinking she would be disturbed, had asked the secretary about where the President was and he informed her that he was golfing.

When Dana came out of the bathroom after freshening up a bit, she noticed that the President was standing in the room. Come to find out, he already knew the ship's name and the history of it. His father had built the model 40 years earlier. He wanted to lure Dana there to be able to talk to her about Gene Seagram without having any interuptions from the office.

He was requesting that she hang in there with Gene until the project was finished.

After Seagram went through the entire explanation of how Brewster found the Byzanium and how he was able to escape with the ore and not get caught by thhe French, the President automatically assumed that the Byzanium was hidden somewhere in the United States. Seagram turned to the last page in Brewster's journal which read from April 10, 1912, "The act is of a ulogy now. Only Vernon will be able to tel the tale for I depart on the great White Star steamer from Southampton within the hour. How I Long to return to Southby." Seagram explained that the only White Star ship that left Southampton that day was the Titanic bound for New York.

It was decided to raise the ship so as not to damage the Byzanium inside of it. Metasection came too far to just give up and now they would be taking on a much greater task!
