Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. This Star Destroyer was commanded by Captain Lorth Needa and was a part of Darth Vader's personal Death Squadron. It pursued the Millennium Falcon through the Hoth Asteroid Field, though the Falcon eventually escaped.

Answer: Avenger

Captain Needa's lengthy pursuit of the Falcon brought fame to the Avenger for being able to follow a much smaller ship through a dangerous asteroid field. However, Needa was executed by Vader for failing to capture the ship. The Avenger attempted to recapture the Death Star II plans and later participated at Endor.
2. This Star Destroyer became the flagship of Grand Admiral Thrawn when he returned from the Unknown Regions. It would later become the flagship of Grand Admiral Gilad Pellaeon.

Answer: Chimaera

The Chimaera was widely regarded as the most efficient Star Destroyer in the Imperial fleet. For this reason, it was the second-most important Star Destroyer at Endor, after the Executor. The Chimaera would continue to serve the Empire as Pellaeon's flagship.
3. This Imperial-class Star Destroyer captured the Rebel blockade runner Tantive IV at Tatooine. It was used for a short time as Darth Vader's flagship.

Answer: Devastator

During the Battle of Tatooine, the Devastator pursued Leia's consular ship, the Tantive IV, and eventually captured it. Vader's famed 501st Legion accompanied him in this short battle that would begin the entire Galactic Civil War. It was eventually destroyed at Endor.
4. This was the first Star Destroyer to be disabled by the Hoth ion cannon. It was under the command of Captain Lennox.

Answer: Tyrant

The Tyrant was positioned over the sector where the first Rebel transports attempted to flee Hoth. However, the ion cannon disabled it. The Tyrant was eventually captured by the Rebels and renamed the Rebel Dream.
5. This is the only Super Star Destroyer known to have landed on a planet. It was the sister ship of the Executor and served as a prison under Ysanne Isard.

Answer: Lusankya

The Lusankya was built at the Kuat Drive Yards at the same time as the Executor. However, one was christened the Executor. The Lusankya was moved to Coruscant where it was buried near the Manarai Mountains. When Corran Horn escaped from the Lusankya, Isard lifted off from Coruscant and fled to Thyferra, where, in a lengthy battle, the Lusankya was captured by Wedge Antilles and his pseudo-Rogue Squadron.

The Lusankya was eventually destroyed at Borleias during the Yuuzhan Vong invasion when it was used as a massive ram against a Vong worldship.
6. This Victory-class Star Destroyer was under the command of Captain Ait Convarion, until it was destroyed by Rogue Squadron at Alderaan.

Answer: Corrupter

The Corrupter's first appearance was an ambush against the Rogues, when it destroyed one X-wing, two Twi'lek Chir'daki, and one bacta freighter. Its second appearance was the destruction of the colony of Halanit. The third and final appearance was its attempted ambush at Alderaan, where it was destroyed by three Gand TIE Bombers, twelve Rogue Squadron X-wings, and nine Twi'lek Chir'daki. Wedge Antilles skimmed the surface of the Corrupter until he could fire two proton torpedoes into Convarion's face.
7. This Imperial-class Star Destroyer participated in Wedge Antilles' diplomatic trip to Adumar and served as his command throughout the incident.

Answer: Allegiance

The Allegiance orbited Adumar opposite the Imperial Star Destroyer Agonizer. It was the command of Captain Salaban. The X-wings of High Flight Squadron, the A-wings of Lightflash Squadron, the Y-wings of Remember Derra Squadron, the B-wings of Solar Wind Squadron, and the TIEs of Skylight and Contender Squadrons were assigned to the Allegiance, and would later participate in the Battle of Adumar.
8. After taking massive damage from the Yuuzhan Vong at Bastion, the Chimaera was left at Yaga Minor for repairs. What was Pellaeon's next flagship, which he used to pursue the Vong to Esfandia, alongside the Relentless?

Answer: Right to Rule

The Right to Rule and the Relentless were part of a task force that Pellaeon assembled to drive the Vong out of Imperial space. While pushing them out, Pellaeon would follow them to Esfandia, where he joined the Millenium Falcon, the Pride of Selonia, and one X-wing/Clawcraft squadron, in a massive battle to save the Long-Range Communications Base.

In the battle, the Vong forces were utterly and completely wiped out.
9. Which of these Star Destroyers was the largest ever produced?

Answer: Eclipse

Yes, the Eclipse was actually larger than the Eclipse II. However, both Star Destroyers were quickly destroyed before they actually managed to do any massive amount of damage, such as wipe-out the New Republic fleet. The Eclipse defeated a few fleets, but could not destroy the main fleet, before its destruction at Da Soocha V.

The Eclipse II did no damage whatsoever to New Republic forces. However, it did manage to take out the superweapon known as the Galaxy Gun by ramming it (because of R2-D2).
10. Which of these Star Destroyers was Warlord Zsinj most often affiliated with?

Answer: Iron Fist

The Second Death and the Razor's Kiss are actually the same ship. The Razor's Kiss was the name of the Star Destroyer when it still functioned. The Second Death was the name when that Star Destroyer was reduced to scrap and used to hide the fact that the Iron Fist had survived at Selaggis.

The Iron Fist, in both the Victory-class form and the Executor-class form, was Zsinj's flagship. The Executor-class was originally named the Brawl, but the name was changed to reflect Zsinj's old ship.
