Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "Taken at the Flood" (a.k.a. "There Is A Tide..."): Who is the man for Lynn Marchmont?

Answer: Rowley Cloade

"Taken at the Flood" (a Shakespeare quote from "Julius Caesar") deals with a numerous conspiracies all related to the Cloade estate. Poirot and Superintendent Spence solve this mystery.
Lynn Marchmont is the effective heroine of the novel. For a while, she is torn between two men (David Hunter and her fiancé, Rowley Cloade). But it is Rowley whom she loves. Although Rowley is involved in two deaths (one an accident, the other a genuine suicide), Poirot manages for him to avoid charges.
2. "Death in the Clouds" (a.k.a. "Death in the Air"): Jane Grey, with Poirot's support, will most likely marry whom?

Answer: Jean Dupont (fils)

Jane Grey is a hairdresser who happens to be on the same flight as Poirot and the murder victim, the money-lender Madame Giselle. She starts going out with fellow passenger Norman Gale, together with whom she assists Poirot in the investigation. It transpires, however, that Norman is (a) already married, and (b) the murderer. Poirot, who saw that coming all along, recommends her to give the archeologist Jean Dupont a chance.
3. "The Pale Horse": Who is Mark Easterbrook's Ms. Right?

Answer: Ginger

The narrator in "The Pale Horse", author and historian Mark Easterbrook, meets Katherine "Ginger" Corrigan during his investigation of the ominous "Pale Horse", a lucrative business that has specialized in, let's say, betting - more precisely, placing a bet that someone is going to die, and winning that bet.
Hermia is his long-term intellectual girlfriend, but the two of them split up when Mark realizes he loves Ginger.
Rhoda is Mark's cousin and made her first appearance in the Poirot novel "Cards on the Table".
4. "Murder in Mesopotamia": Sheila Reilly has three suitors to choose from, but whom does she choose in the end?
