The only way to enter Tumladen is through the Secret Escape - underground curse beneath Echoriath.

Voronwe was the only one who survived the seven ships sent to the West after Nķrnaeth Arnoediad.

Turgon was too proud and believed that Gondolin would stay hidden from the enemy.

Earendil is the son of Tuor and Idril Celebrindal.
8. During the battle of Gondolin, Ecthelion slew and was slain by Gothmog. Gothmog is a(n):

11. What was the name of the elf who killed Balrog at Cirith Thoronath?

Answer: Glorfindel

To me this is one of the saddest parts of Tolkien's works. It always touches my heart every time I read it. Anyway, there is a supposition that Glorfindel of Gondolin and Glorfindel of Rivendell (see "The Lord Of The Rings") are the same because after his death he was re-embodied by the Valar. Check http://valarguild.org/varda/Tolkien/encyc/papers/Glorfindel.htm for more information, referring to a very good source - Tolkien himself.
12. Tuor led the survivors to where?

Answer: Nan-Tathren

Nan-Tathren means "The Land of Willows". It was a land in Southern Beleriand.
13. Who became king of all Noldor after the death of Turgon?

Answer: Gil-galad

Ereinion Gil-Galad was the son of Fingon and the last male descendant of Finwe, the first Noldor king.
14. What was the name of Tuor's ship?

Answer: Earrame

"When Tuor felt old age creeping on him he built a great ship Earame, Eagle's Pinion, and with Idril he set sail into the sunset and the West, and came no more into any tale or song". "But Tuor alone of mortal Men was numbered among the elder race, and joined with the Noldor whom he loved (...); and his fate is sundered from the fate of Men".
15. Gondolin means:

Answer: The Hidden Stone

"Gondobar am I called, and Gondothlimbar, The City of Stone, and the City of the Dwellers in Stone; Gondolin, the Stone of Song and Gwarestrin am I named. The Tower of the Guard; Gar Thurion, for I am hidden from the eyes of Melko..."
