The film is "Casablanca", released in 1942. Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman and Paul Henreid also star. Rick (Bogart) has the letters of transit, and at first plans on using them so he, and old flame Ilsa, can leave the country. But of course, plans can change. "Casablanca" was nominated for eight Oscars, and won three: Best Director for Michael Curtiz, Best Picture, and Best Writing, Screenplay.
2. This Peter won an Oscar, posthumously, for the film in which his character, Howard Beale said, "This is not a psychotic breakdown, it's a cleansing moment of clarity". Which Peter was it?

Answer: Peter Finch

The film is "Network", which was released in 1976, and also stars William Holden, Faye Dunaway and Robert Duval. "Network" satirizes television networks, and what they will do for ratings. Peter Finch became the first posthumous Oscar winner in an acting category.
3. He played Inspector Jacques Clouseau in a series of movies. Which Peter was this?

Answer: Peter Sellers

Peter Sellers is hysterical as the bumbling Inspector Clouseau. There were five films which star Peter Sellers as Clouseau: "A Shot In The Dark", "The Pink Panther", "The Return Of The Pink Panther", "The Pink Panther Strikes Again", and "Revenge Of The Pink Panther". There were others made after his death, but they don't measure up to the first ones.

Answer: Peter Lawford

The film is "Exodus", released in 1960. It stars Paul Newman, Eva Marie Saint and Sal Mineo. It is about the founding of the state of Israel. "Exodus" was nominated for Oscars for Best Supporting Actor for Sal Mineo, and Best Cinematography. It won for Best Music Score.

Betty is dancing with their friend, Louis, when he is shot. He tells Bob about an assassination plot to take place in London.

The kidnappers take Betty to London to prevent Bob from discussing what he knows.
7. This Peter played Dennis Nayland Smith, in a film about an old man who must amass the ingredients for his age-regressing elixir. Oh, Peter plays the old guy too. Which Peter was that?

Answer: Peter Sellers

8. This Peter plays three roles, one of which is Prime Minister Count Mountjoy, in this film about a tiny country declaring war on America so they can receive foreign aid. Which Peter is this?

Answer: Peter Sellers

The film, "The Mouse That Roared", was released in 1959, and also stars Jean Seberg. Because the Grand Duchy of Fenwick is having financial troubles, it decides to declare war on America, lose, and then get foreign aid. The invasion force that is sent to New York inadvertently captures a scientist with a weapon that could destroy the earth. But they didn't want to WIN the war!
9. William Boldwood is one of three men who love Bathsheba Everdene in 19th century England. Which Peter played him?

Answer: Peter Finch

The film is "Far From The Madding Crowd", released in 1967. It also stars Julie Christie, Terrence Stamp and Alan Bates. Bathsheba inherits a country estate, and insists on managing it herself, something not normally done by a woman in the 19th century, but Bathsheba is not your typical woman.

It is this independence which attracts three, very different suitors. Peter Finch won a National Board of Review, USA Best Actor award for his performance.
10. Justin Young returns to a small village in Italy, for a reunion of U.S. servicemen who were stationed there during WWII. His wife doesn't know that he has been sending payments to a woman there who had his baby. Which Peter plays in this film?

Answer: Peter Lawford

The film is "Buona Sera, Mrs. Campbell", a comedy which was released in 1969. Gina Lollobrigida plays Carla Campbell, a woman who became pregnant by a G.I. during WWII. She didn't know which one of the three she was seeing was the father, so she told all three. Unbeknownst to each of them, she's been receiving three maintenance payments for the last 20 years, and now that they have returned, each father wants to meet his daughter. Carla wears herself out trying to keep each one from finding out about the other two. Telly Savalas, Phil Silvers and Peter Lawford play the fathers.

I didn't realize it when I picked these four actors, but all of them died relatively young. Sellers died at age 54 of a heart attack, Finch at age 60 of a heart attack, Lorre at age 59 of a stroke, and Lawford at age 61 of kidney and liver disease.
