11. (1987) After one unhappy marriage left her a widow, Loretta decided to marry again, but for safety and security this time, and not for love. Her plans were progressing nicely until she met her fiancé's moody and passionate, younger brother, who worked in a bakery. Loretta soon fell in love, which completely messed up all her careful plans.
12. (1983) Tony and his friend Manny didn't set out to become drug lords, when they first came to America, as refugees from Cuba, but they were so good at it. The more successful Tony became, the more enemies he acquired. It was hard for him not to become paranoid, when people really were trying to kill him.
13. (1980) It was pretty lonely for Jack, spending the winter snowed into a mountain resort with just his wife and son for company. So it was a darn good thing that there were so many ghosts at the Overlook Hotel to keep him occupied. Of course the fact that the ghosts wanted him to kill his wife and son, and join their ranks might have been a bit unsettling, to a lesser man.
14. (1989) When Ray Kinsella followed the voices that he alone heard, and turned a piece of his farmland into a baseball diamond, a lot of people were ready to have him committed. But when the ghosts of the 1919 Chicago White Sox team, including Shoeless Joe Jackson, showed up to play, they stopped doubting his sanity.
15. (1980) This slapstick comedy deals with the eccentric goings on at an exclusive golf club, that is plagued with eccentric members, and a strangely clever, yet destructive little gopher.
