The 1949 film "Sorrowful Jones" was a remake of the classic Shirley Temple film "Little Miss Marker". Bob plays a bookie who agrees to watch a child as a receipt for an IOU. However, the child's father fails to return for the kid, leaving Bob stuck with a little girl.

In "The Lemon Drop Kid" Bob dresses up as an old woman to gain access to a house where a gangster was holding several little old ladies hostage. In "The Princess and the Pirate" Bob dresses up as a little old lady to fool the pirate. And in "The Road to Morocco" Bob plays a con man named Turkey Jackson ... and Turkey's Aunt Lucy.

The Barovians arrive in New York to take Michael back to his country, and make him their King, while at the same time, an evil organization known as the Mordia is trying to kill him and take over the country. And all of this is occurring on Michael's wedding day!

Bob plays millionaire John Kidley, whose test results get mixed up with a dog. His doctor believes Bob has a rare disease and that Bob will die a painful death in about thirty days. While resting, Bob meets Mickey (played by Martha Raye) who wants to marry her Texas boyfriend.

However, her father wants Mickey to marry Prince Smirnov, so she will acquire title and wealth. Bob (who has women troubles of his own) convinces Mickey to marry him, so that when he dies she will inherit his money, and that will leave her free to marry her Texas boyfriend.

The only problem is that Bob is not really going to die.

In the 1941 movie, Bob plays Governor Jim Taylor, who is a member of the Louisiana Purchasing Company. Although Jim is honest, the company is corrupt, and when a United States Senator (played by Victor Moore) begins an investigation, Jim finds himself in hot water as the fall guy. So Jim decides to distract the old bachelor Senator with a young woman (played by dancer Vera Zorina) and of course, Bob falls for her himself.

The other three movies listed were also made in color, but they were made later.

Answer: The Big Broadcast of 1938

"The Big Broadcast of 1938" stars W. C. Fields and Martha Raye. Bob co-stars, making his film debut as radio emcee Buzz Fielding, and he sings "Thanks For the Memory" with his ex-wife. The song won an Oscar for Best Song. Dorothy Lamour also appears in the film marking her first appearance with Bob. And by the way, every wrong answer in this quiz is a movie that starred Bob Hope.
