Answer: Robocop

Detroit cop, Murphy (played with a sturdy chin by Peter Weller), says this to the gang of bank robbers he is about to arrest, just before they kill him. Later, when re-animated and transformed into Robocop, he surprises his killers by uttering the same line.

This is estranged Brad Whitewood Sr.'s (Christopher Walken) response to his son, Brad Jr. (Sean Penn), when he reveals he heard his father was a thief. Walken plays a professional thief and Penn his impressionable teenaged son, in a film based on a true story about a notorious family of thieves who will stop at nothing, even murder, to protect themselves and their familial empire.

After a night where meeting a woman in the Soho district of NYC turns into one comic nightmare situation after another, Griffin Dunne recaps what has happened during a rolling monologue against a backdrop of exposed brick wall and spotlights, looking as if he is doing stand-up comedy. Martin Scorcese's funniest (black) comedy.

This is Litko's (Jim Belushi) response to Dan's (Rob Lowe) assertion that he just picked up the phone and the girl from the night before, Debbie (Demi Moore), was already on the line. This romantic-comedy, punctuated with moments of hilarious ribald humor, follows Dan and Debbie's trials and tribulations as they try to turn a one-night-stand into a serious relationship.

This is Henry's (Mickey Rourke) reply to his friend Jim's question, "You worked last year?", after Henry gives him an income tax refund check to cash. This hilarious film was written by poet/writer Charles Bukowski based on his own experiences of being an L.A. barfly.

Answer: The Color of Money

This is one of many philosophies mentor "Fast" Eddie Felson (Paul Newman) bestows upon his new student, hot-shot pool player Vincent (Tom Cruise), in the sequel to "The Hustler". Felson takes Vincent under his wing, and on the road to the annual Billiard Championships in Atlantic City, while teaching him the art of hustling pool players across the country along the way.
7. "I guess it's better than getting caught with your pants down, eh?" - 1988

Answer: Die Hard

When German terrorists (led by British actor Alan Rickman in his film debut) take over a high-rise building in Los Angeles, off-duty New York City cop, John McClane (Bruce Willis), does everything in his power to try and thwart their plans. This is McClane's response to Hans Gruber (Rickman) who, disguising his German accent to sound Californian, notices McClane is wearing no shoes or socks.
8. "Life's just one long rock video, huh, Kent?" - 1988

Answer: Talk Radio

During a night of threatening phone calls, Barry Champlain (Eric Bogosian) asks this of radio studio guest, Kent (Michael Wincott), a caller who lied about his girlfriend overdosing in order to meet Champlain. Wincott does triple duty, as he is also the voices of callers Michael and Joe in Oliver Stone's film based on a true story.
9. "Mister, there are two ways you can leave from these here premises: on your feet or on your back." - 1987

Answer: Near Dark

Severen's (Bill Paxton) reply is, "Why that's awfully big talk for a bartender", before he and his vampire clan, led by Civil War-era Jesse (Lance Henrikson), wreak havoc on the bar. Showing their new recruit, Caleb (Adrian Pasdar), the ropes they proceed to gruesomely feast on the bar patrons. All but Pasdar, that is, who cannot bring himself to kill anyone, thereby allowing the only living witness, a guy about his own age, to escape, jeopardizing the vampires' very existence. Vampires Henrikson, Paxton and Jeanette Goldstein all appeared together in "Aliens".
10. "Can I borrow your towel, my car just hit a water buffalo." - 1985

Answer: Fletch

Newspaper journalist Fletch (Chevy Chase) asks this of Gayle Stanwyck (Dana Wheeler-Nicholson), who has just emerged from the shower wearing nothing but a towel. While investigating the drug problem on the beach, Fletch is propositioned by Stanwyck's husband, who offers Fletch $50,000 to kill him. Fletch is forced to pull double-duty, while always changing identities, in order to find out why.
