Sugarman doesn't take Coffy back to his place, instead he suggests they go back to Grover's place instead. On the way, Coffy tells Sugarman she knows just what he wants and he's going to get it. He gets it alright, but not as he figured he would.

Coffy takes a large purse with her, and in it is a very short sawed off shotgun. When Sugarman gets up to turn off the lights, Coffy springs the gun on him and tells him "This is the end of your rotten life you dope pusher". Sugarman looks at her unbelievingly, and she blows his head off.

Then Coffy comes at Grover with the shotgun, and a syringe filled with a drug. While we don't find out what it is, Grover knows immediately that it will kill him. When Grover asks what she wants with him, Coffy explains that LuBelle Coffin is her 11-year-old sister, a smack addict whose whole life is gone while he, the pusher who gave it to her, is "living real good. That ain't right".

Answer: Flower Child Coffin

This is never directly mentioned in the movie, but we find out from Coffy, when she mentions her little sister LuBelle, that the surname is Coffin. When Coffy goes to visit LuBelle in a juvenile rehabilitation center, LuBelle calls her Flower Child. On the DVD commentary, director Jack Hill confirms this is in fact Coffy's real name.

Carter reveals to Coffy that his partner, McHenry, is a bad cop on the take with the dope pushers and the Mafia that's moving in on the narcotics racket. McHenry tries to get Carter to go on the take with him, however being one of the few good cops left in the district, Carter refuses.

When Coffy seems about to confess about killing Sugarman, the door to Carter's home is broken down and two men in ski masks come in with baseball bats, and beat Carter into permanent brain damage. Coffy breaks a vase over the head of one man, but gets beaten up herself, and groped by the man before they leave.

Answer: Priscilla

Priscilla had been King George's girlfriend and top call girl, then she became a patient of Coffy's, when she insulted King George and he cut her face. Coffy tells Priscilla she's interested in working for King George, trying to figure out where he keeps his stash of smack.

She gets the answer from Priscilla just in time, when Priscilla's 'old man', Harriet, steps in and demands to know what's going on.

First Coffy breaks a liquor bottle in retaliation for Priscilla coming at her with a knife. Then at King George's party, she hides razor blades in her hair so when Meg grabs her head, she cuts her hands. Finally she uses a sharpened bobby pin to stab Omar in the neck when he's trying to sleep with her before he kills her.

A wire hanger wasn't a choice of weapon until 1974 when Pam Grier did "Foxy Brown", which originally was supposed to be a sequel to Coffy.

When King George's current top call girl, Meg, returns back from Miami and is introduced to 'Mystique', she is not pleased, to say the least. Coffy, as Mystique, is posing as a Jamaican woman who declares herself to be the very best in her business, which is just plain sex. Meg pronounces her name as 'Meh-stick' and asks King George what sort of name it is.

Answer: Calls her boyfriend

Coffy calls the home of her boyfriend, Howard Brunswick, who is a politician and claims he is trying to restore some power to the black brothers and sisters of the community. What she calls him for, we never find out, but we do find out that Howard isn't there, or at least is not answering the phone.

Right before Coffy can pull the trigger, she's knocked down by Omar, who turns out to be one of the two men who attacked Carter. Another man, Aleva, who quickly comes into the picture, recognizes Coffy from seeing her with Howard Brunswick, and it is announced that Arturo Vitroni has big trouble. Vitroni doesn't believe that this one woman could be behind it all, so Coffy says that King George set it up, ensuring King George's grim demise.

Answer: Coffy finds out Howard's working with Vitroni.

When Coffy's brought in to see Howard at Vitroni's, it is revealed by both men that Howard not only knows Arturo Vitroni but is working with him. When Arturo inquires if Howard knows Coffy, Howard says she's just a broad he's sleeping with. Arturo replies that the broad he sleeps with tried to kill him, and he wonders if she was put up to it by somebody. Coffy insists the only person who put her up to anything was King George. Still, Vitroni has his doubts to how loyal Howard is to him. Howard explains to Vitroni that despite their color difference, he's still in the racket for the money, just like the rest of them.

When asked how much Coffy means to him, Howard answers by ordering Vitroni's men to take her out and kill her.

During King George's party, Coffy went into his bedroom, dug the supply up from under the ashes in a fireplace, and replaced the smack with sugar. In so, Vitroni's men only think she's getting a dose of the real stuff, so they're taken by surprise when she attacks a few moments later.

Answer: Burns up when his car bursts into flames

Once Coffy's taken out to be killed, the hunted becomes the hunter and she attacks. First she stabs Omar in the neck several times with a bobby pin, then takes off with Nick and McHenry following her. Nick chases her out into late night traffic and it run over by a speeding pickup truck, then hit again by another passing vehicle. McHenry chases her in his car, speeding to get her, Coffy throws a rock and smashes the windshield. Unable to see what he's doing, McHenry drives along piles of boards and starts up one similar to a ramp.

But the car turns over as a result, and goes up in flames just a moment later.

After the ordeal with McHenry, Coffy rests on a bench and is offered a ride by a man passing through. Coffy asks him to stop at the liquor store and get her a drink, and the man obliges. When he goes into the store, Coffy takes off in his car back to Vitroni's house.

Coffy sits down in Howard's living room with a shotgun she took from McHenry's car. When Howard comes down she points the gun at him and insists he sit down and talk to her. She insists she's not mad at him, so Howard tries to take the gun from her. When he does, Coffy pumps the gun and informs him that she's killed all his friends and it won't take much to kill him too.

Coffy finds out that the man she loved, is cheating on her with another woman, a woman he slept with while he thought she was dead. She fires the shotgun but only succeeds in maiming his genital area. Coffy decides it is enough, and while the woman screams and Howard moans and cries, Coffy drops the shotgun and leaves the house to go home. Coffy's entire quest in the movie had been to ruin the lives of the dope pushers who ruined lives like those of her 11-year-old sister. Considering that she killed nine men in the dope business and ruined the lives of several others, it seems that justice had been served.
