Cathleen and Scarlett are talking about Rhett Butler, when Scarlett sees him for the first time.

When Gerald, Scarlett's father, announces that the war is over, Suellen, Careen, Melanie, and Scarlett are present. Suellen says, "It's not possible!" Careen says, "Oh why did we ever fight?!" Melanie says the above line and Scarlett says, "Yes, Ashley will be coming home. We'll plant more cotton; cotton oughta' go sky high next year!

Belle and Melanie are siiting in Belle's carriage at night, Melanie thanking her for saving Ashley's life. The conversation eventually get around to Scarlett, which is how this line comes up.

Rhett and Bonnie are in London, and Rhett comes home to find Bonnie's room dark; the candle had burnt out. Bonnie's Nurse was supposed to keep the room light.

She says, "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry for everything." This is during the last scene, shortly before the classic line: "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn."
