Eddie Anderson played Uncle Peter, Aunt Pittypat's coachman, in 'GWTW'. He later became Jack Benny's sidekick, Rochester, on radio and TV.

Leigh could not master the Southern accent for (love), which sounds a little like (loouuuvve). The problem was solved by a tennis game. Over each (love) in her script, she wrote (l'oeuf).
