Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete Quiz

Answer: "You haven't lost your touch."

The three incorrect answers are all made up off the top of my head. All the others seem to be a decent line to finish this quote, even though they are incorrect. When Cloud arrives at the Healing Lodge he is only expecting to see Reno, so Rude and Rufus turning up is a complete surprise. Rufus wants help from Cloud and when he enters the Healing Lodge he is confronted By Reno, whom he dodges easily and locks outside.

While inside, Rude brandishes a rod and Cloud puts his sword at his throat as if to say "Don't even try it!" and Rude relents and decides to leave it. Rufus then appears and says the correct answer from above.

Answer: "In my head."

In the film Cloud is still moping and moaning at this point and his response to this question confirms that. However as the film progresses he "man's up" a bit and makes up for it in quite spectacular fashion. He says this as his memories of being in SOLDIER are not entirely his own; his memories are Zack's memories. Cloud was never actually in SOLDIER except in his head (hence the quote).

Answer: "Wanna play?"

He actually says all of these phrases during the church scene. He says all of them before he starts fighting with Tifa, though, so it is easy to get the wrong answer if you don't think carefully! This happens when Loz is looking for Mother. After he says "Wanna play?", Tifa blanks him.

Then he says, "I guess that's a no." He then continues with "Gross!" when he sees all the flowers on the church floor. Then he continues with "Where's Mother?" Tifa replies with "No one's here." Loz then says, "Fine play with me." Tifa puts on a pair of black leather gloves and adopts a fighting stance and Loz says, "This is gonna be fun!" This is the sequence of all the lines in this scene.

Answer: "Just run!"

This happens after Tifa's fight with Loz. She is hurt badly but manages to shout this out to Marlene before Loz gets a hold of her. She still gets caught in any case.

Answer: "Who did this?"

Cloud calls Tifa'a name twice before she states that Cloud is late. She is pretty hurt at the time and I think she does a grand job of talking at all!

Answer: No

It is actually Barret who says this, not Cid. Barret is the second person you hear on Cloud's phone. In the film, he leaves a message about an oil field he has found. Barret also tells Cloud to tell Marlene (his daughter) he is going to come home to see her soon. The first call Cloud gets is from Tifa.

Answer: black sheep

Kadaj makes this statement to the children he has kidnapped from Midgar. He says Cloud is a "black sheep" due to Cloud's denial of being a part of "Kadaj's family" (so to speak), as all of them have Geo-Stigma. Cloud has come to the Forgotten City in an attempt to save the children.

Answer: True

There is a message from Reeve. He says to Cloud, "Hey, it's me, Reeve. How's work going?" He chuckles as he says this next line: "I saw your flyer. How in the world do you manage to stay in business? You never change, Cloud. If it's okay I was thinking of helping you out but I guess I'll call back another time." This is the only time you hear from Reeve in the whole film, which seems strange as he has quite an important part in the game "Final Fantasy VII".

Answer: "Not a chance."

This is the first time you see the Remnants in the film and it is also the first time they meet Cloud. After the conversation ends there is a great fight scene between the Remnants and Cloud. However, Kadaj doesn't join in the fighting as he is on the phone to the Turks while Yazoo and Loz deal with Cloud.

Answer: "There are still children with the Stigma."

Red XIII says this line right at the end of the film just before Cloud heals Denzel. It is a shame he only gets one line. However, he sounds rather camp so maybe that is why they only gave him one line.

Answer: "Mother's going to tell me."

Soon after this, Cloud and Kadaj have an awesome sword fight. This battle is only eclipsed by the battle between Sephiroth and Cloud. "Mother" is actually Jenova and he has a box containing the Jenova cells so he can have his "Reunion". This happens shortly after Cloud defeats him and he becomes Sephiroth.

Answer: "Good to see you, Cloud."

When Cloud finishes fighting Kadaj, Kadaj then becomes Sephiroth. After this initial opening line, Cloud and Sephiroth have a chat about things before the fight commences. This fight is epic and the first line Sephiroth says to Cloud sets up the rest of the fight brilliantly.

Answer: "I'm not alone. Not anymore."

This line is not said aloud. It is said in Cloud's mind in response to what Aeris says to him: "See everything's alright". He says this because he no longer feels guilt for Aeris's death (even though she never blamed him in the first place and in my eyes it was not his fault), and also because Geo-stigma has been cured so he can get on with his life as normal again with his friends (Tifa, Yuffie, Barret, etc) and the children (Denzel and Marlene). Sorry about the incorrect answer about the box of chocolates.

It's not "Forrest Gump", but I just couldn't resist!

Answer: "Looks like today we're clocking out early!"

Reno and Rude set these bombs up on the highway after Cloud has passed them to take out Loz and Yazoo. The conversation begins with Reno saying, "Hey partner, this thing got any bite to it?" Rude replies with "Shin-ra technology at its finest." Reno replies, "Oh good so you made this?" Rude replies with "If nothing else its flashy." Finally Reno replies with the correct answer to this question.

Answer: "Where can I buy a phone?"

Vincent obviously asks this question in relation to the incident in the Forgotten City where you find out Vincent doesn't own a mobile phone. He maybe intends to get one especially if Cloud gets one so he can "phone in the verdict"! (This is one of the lines said in the Forgotten City when they are talking after Vincent saves Cloud.)
