Answer: Ghost

Jerry Zucker directed Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, and Whoopi Goldberg in this funny, but suspenseful film. Goldberg is hysterically funny, and Vincent Shiavelli delivers a very convincing performance as an angry, subway-haunting ghost, but the romantic scene between Swayze, Moore and a lump of clay is the show stealer.

Unfortunately her husband has a lot to lose if the real story comes out, and Claire soon learns that finding the truth may cost her her life.

Answer: The Shining

Stanley Kubrick directed this adaptation of a Stephen King novel that starred Jack Nicholson, Shelley Duvall, Danny Lloyd and Scatman Crothers. The way that Dick, played by Crothers, is killed in the movie really annoyed me. In the book he had a much more heroic role, rescuing Danny and his mother, and taking them away to heal.
