"Harry Potter 3" Part 2 Trivia Quiz

Answer: Sirius Black

Obviously, the title refers to Sirius Black. Peter was actually the one who betrayed the Potters and should have gone to Azkaban, but he framed Sirius so it was Sirius who got locked up for twelve years. James Potter is Harry's father but sadly, he's long been dead. Rubeus Hagrid DID go to Azkaban in Harry's second year but he's not the one the title refers to in this movie and besides, he only stayed there for a few months.

Answer: twelve

This is clearly stated in the book and mentioned in passing in the movie. It's mostly heard when Sirius, Ron (with Scabbers), Hermione, Harry, and Remus are in the Shrieking Shack; Remus was asking Sirius to be patient while Sirius was yelling that he's "had twelve years of waiting!"

Answer: a beret

This was an interesting change in Dumbledore's costume. I wonder why they changed it?

Answer: "something wicked this way comes"

A very nice song which is usually heard even in the trailers of the movie. The entire lyrics were from William Shakespeare's play, "Macbeth" (thanks tazykat!). And the last line, "something wicked this way comes" gives us a hint of what Harry's third year would be like. And weren't the huge frogs/toads cute?

Professor Remus Lupin said that while they were in the Shrieking Shack when Hermione blurted out that he was a werewolf and figured it out when Snape gave them the werewolf essay to do. Sirius Black compliment Hermione after she and Harry rescued him and flew him away using Buckbeak, then they landed near the front of the castle so they could talk and so Harry and Hermione could head back to the hospital wing.

Answer: right

It's his right and it's really funny when, lying propped up in a bed in the hospital wing, the headmaster kept patting his heavily bandaged leg while making a point to Harry and Hermione.

Answer: Neville Longbottom

Harry only had problems with the book when he undid the belt holding it while he was in room 11 of the Leaky Cauldron - it tried to bite him and then scuttled under his bed, still trying to bite him. Draco Malfoy was the one who asked Hagrid in his snide way how to open the book and, when Hagrid replied that you had to stroke them, he stroked his book and calmly opened it.

In the first movie, they had a running gag wherein Seamus kept trying to do magic and it kept blowing up in his face but they stopped that in the second and third movie.

It was Neville Longbottom who released his book before he stroked the spine so the book attacked him and it was some time before he could stroke the spine and tame the book.

Answer: The whole class

A mark of Alfonso Cuaron's subtle humor that he displays throughout the movie. With his back turned, Hagrid asks his class who would like to try and get closer to Buckbeak, the class responds by backing up, leaving Harry alone and in front. Neville would probably be with him if it weren't for the fact that Neville ducked and hid behind the huge rock in front of him.

When Hagrid notices Harry has stepped forward and "volunteered", he tells Harry to come forward and it's Ron who pushes him. Seeing as how Hagrid already calls Harry forth before Ron pushes him forward, you can't say that Ron volunteered Harry.

Answer: pink or peach

For some reason, I kept noticing her pink (some might think it's peach since both are similar colors) jacket so I figured I'll ask that to see who also kept noticing her jacket.

Answer: ring finger

This is a really weird blooper. The book says he lost his index finger; Fudge indicates that Peter lost his pinky finger. When we see Peter in the Shrieking Shack, he actually lost his ring finger.
