Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. After burying Dobby, Harry approached the goblin, Griphook, and asked for his favor to help him break into Gringotts, as he believed that one of Voldemort's Horcruxes was hidden in Bellatrix's vault there. Griphook agreed but he wanted something from Harry in return. What was it?

Answer: The Sword of Gryffindor

Initially, Harry told Griphook that he could offer him gold. However, Griphook said he was not interested in gold. He also added that there was a replica of the Sword of Gryffindor in Bellatrix's vault at Gringotts. He informed Harry that only a goblin could identify the real sword.

When questioned by Griphook how he obtained the real sword, Harry explained that the sword would reveal itself when needed. Griphook then told Harry that he wanted the Sword of Gryffindor if he was to help them break into Gringotts. Harry agreed.
2. With the help from Griphook, Harry managed to locate one of Voldemort's Horcruxes - Hufflepuff's cup - at Gringotts. However, Harry and his friends, Ron and Hermione, soon found themselves surrounded by the bank's guards. How did they escape from Gringotts?

Answer: They rode on the back of a dragon.

Hermione drank the Polyjuice Potion and posed as Bellatrix, who pretended to want to visit her vault. Ron was also in disguise. On the other hand, Harry and Griphook followed Hermione and Ron from behind, under the Cloak of Invisibility. The underground vaults were protected by a dragon.

Their plan went well until they passed through a waterfall, which washed away the effect of the Polyjuice Potion. Knowing that their identities had been uncovered, Harry quickly grabbed Helga Hufflepuff's cup and prepared to escape from the bank. Soon, the trio were surrounded by the bank's guards. Hermione then came up with the crazy idea of escaping from the bank by riding on the back of the dragon they saw earlier. Hermione hopped on to the back of the dragon and uttered a spell to release the chains. The trio then escaped from Gringotts.
3. Harry's friends and teachers were happy to see him back at Hogwarts. They promised Harry that they would help him in his quest of bringing down Lord Voldemort. Which professor cast the "Piertotum Locomotor" spell to bring the statues to life to protect Hogwarts and later told Mrs. Weasley, "I always wanted to use that spell."?

Answer: Minerva McGonagall

Harry, Ron and Hermione returned to Hogwarts after Harry had another vision of Voldemort, where he found out that the next Horcrux was hidden somewhere in their school. Professor Severus Snape was the new headmaster at Hogwarts, replacing Albus Dumbledore. Harry then confronted Snape. McGonagall stepped in and dueled with Snape. After Snape fled Hogwarts, McGonagall, Mrs. Weasley and Flitwick cast protective spells on the castle.

Flitwick told McGonagall that they could not keep out Lord Voldemort for long, but McGonagall said they should at least try to delay the Death Eaters from entering the castle. She then cast the "Piertotum Locomotor" spell. The statues sprung to life. McGonagall gave them the instruction, "Hogwarts is threatened, man the boundaries. Protect us, do your duty to our school." She then turned to Mrs. Weasley and said emotionally, "I always wanted to use that spell."
4. Luna suggested to Harry to get help from the ghosts in Hogwarts about the exact location of Ravenclaw's diadem. Harry then met the ghost of Rowena Ravenclaw's daughter, Helena. After a short conversation with her, Harry knew where he should go to look for the diadem. Where did he head to?

Answer: The Room of Requirement

Harry knew that the next Horcrux was hidden somewhere in Hogwarts. Luna then suggested it might be Ravenclaw's diadem. However, other students doubted this as no one in living memory had seen the diadem. As Harry frantically searched for the diadem, Luna stopped Harry and suggested that he should ask for help from the ghosts in Hogwarts.

Harry then met Helena Ravenclaw and told her he was looking for her mother's diadem. Helena admitted that she stole the precious object from her mother. At first, she was reluctant to give Harry any information. She was extremely angry when Harry told her that he wanted to destroy the diadem, as this reminded her of Tom (Lord Voldemort), who promised her the same thing. After a short conversation, Harry managed to convince Helena about his good intentions. Harry was then informed that the diadem was located in a room where all things could be found. Upon hearing this, Harry knew he needed to go to the Room of Requirement to find Ravenclaw's diadem.
5. Lord Voldemort noticed that the Elder Wand did not work well for him so he speculated that he was not the true master of the wand. He then summoned Snape and questioned him about this before killing him mercilessly. What thing did Snape give Harry before he died?

Answer: His memory

Lord Voldemort knew that it was Snape who killed Dumbledore. Hence, the Elder Wand only listened to Snape, and not Voldemort. Voldemort then ordered his snake, Nagini, to kill Snape.

Nagini attacked Snape and left. Snape was seriously injured. Harry came to help Snape but it was too late. Before dying, Snape commented that Harry had his mother's eyes. Snape also asked Harry to collect his tears so that he could view his memory. Hermione gave Harry a small vial and Harry filled it up with Snape's tears. He then went to Dumbledore's office to look at Snape's memory by using the Pensieve. Through Snape's memory, Harry learned that Snape loved his mother, Lily, very much.
6. Fred Weasley was killed in the ultimate battle that took place at Hogwarts. Two more characters - Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks - also died in the battle. Who killed the notorious Bellatrix Lestrange, one of Lord Voldemort's loyal Death Eaters?

Answer: Molly Weasley

In the final battle that took place at Hogwarts, Bellatrix and a group of Death Eaters fought fiercely. Bellatrix pointed her wand at Molly Weasley's only daughter, Ginny, and prepared to cast a spell on her. This was seen by Molly. An angry Molly then fought back and cast a few spells on Bellatrix. Belatrix did not take Molly seriously and eventually, it was her confidence and arrogance that took her life, when one of Molly's curses hit her and killed her.
7. Harry was heart-broken when he learned that many people had sacrificed their lives in the ultimate battle at Hogwarts. Lord Voldemort demanded to meet him at the Forbidden Forest, or else he would kill more people. Harry had no choice but to agree. As he made his way to the forest, the golden snitch opened. What did Harry find in the snitch?

Answer: The Resurrection Stone

The golden snitch was given to Harry from his headmaster, Dumbledore. The snitch was also the same snitch that Harry caught during his first Quidditch match back in his first year at Hogwarts.

The snitch had the inscription "I open at the close" on it. Harry would meet Lord Voldemort soon and he knew that the end was near. He took out the snitch from his pocket and placed his lips on it. The snitch opened, revealing the Resurrection Stone inside. Harry then saw the ghosts of James, Lily, Sirius and Lupin.
8. Harry learned that Nagini was also one of Lord Voldemort's Horcruxes. Ron and Hermione tried to kill Nagini by stabbing it with a basilisk's fang. However, both of them failed in doing so. It was Neville who saved the day when he killed Nagini. How did he accomplish this?

Answer: He decapitated Nagini by using the Sword of Gryffindor.

Nagini was Lord Voldemort's pet snake. During the battle, Neville found the Sorting Hat lying on the ground. He picked it up and pulled out the Sword of Gryffindor from it. Neville saved Ron and Hermione in the nick of time when they were cornered by the giant snake. He bravely sliced off Nagini's head with the Sword of Gryffindor.
9. The climax of the movie was when Harry and Lord Voldemort faced off in the ultimate duel. After defeating Lord Voldemort in the epic battle, Harry told Ron and Hermione that he was the real owner of the Elder Wand. What did Harry do to the wand?

Answer: He snapped it into half and threw it away.

During the ultimate duel between Harry and Lord Voldemort, the killing curse cast by Voldemort backfired on him, killing him instantly. The Elder Wand left Voldemort's hand and flew to Harry, who grabbed it with ease. It was then that Harry realized he was the true master of the Elder Wand.

He explained to Ron and Hermione that when Draco disarmed Dumbledore, Draco became the owner of the wand. Harry also disarmed Draco in a duel, making him the new owner of the wand. Seeing that the Elder Wand only did more bad than good, Harry decided to destroy the wand by snapping it into half before throwing it away, much to Ron's surprise.
10. The final scene of the movie took place 19 years later, where Harry and Ginny arrived at King's Cross Station with their three children. Before departing to Hogwarts, one of their sons voiced out his concern - he was worried that he might be placed in the house of Slytherin. Harry comforted him by telling him that he was named after two of Hogwarts' greatest headmasters. What was Harry's son's name?

Answer: Albus Severus Potter

Harry and his wife, Ginny, arrived at King's Cross Station to send their children to Hogwarts. Albus looked very down and Harry approached him. Albus said that he was worried that he might be placed in the house of Slytherin, and not Gryffindor. Harry told him that if this was the case, then the house of Slytherin would gain another great wizard.

He also told Albus that his name, Albus Severus Potter, was taken from two of Hogwarts' greatest headmasters - Severus Snape and Albus Dumbledore.
