While this film is quite obscure, it has an originality and holds its own with its dark humor and cheesiness! The role of Brock Johnson is played by Wes Olsen, who is also the writer, director and producer.

Rock singer Billy Eye is executed for going crazy and murdering several people in a recording studio. He returns from the dead and stalks a woman who is the lead singer in a band called 'Rocktober Blood' because she testified against him at the trial for his murder spree.

Burt and Vicky (Horton and Hamilton) are on their way to Seattle while passing through the town of Gatlin, Nebraska. They realize that there are no adults there...except them! All the adults are killed off by the town children. This movie spawned several sequels and a 2009 made-for-TV remake that aired on Syfy network. For the original 1984 film, Stephen King's story was dropped and the writing was done by George Goldsmith. Turns out the production company for the movie did not want to have the two main characters spend a lot of time in the beginning of the film having an argument, as they did in King's story. On the other hand, the television remake does show the couple having a lengthy argument, which I personally found to be quite annoying!

The huge boar kills a small child in the beginning of the film, which causes his grandfather to go after the wild beast for revenge. Gregory Harrison plays the role of Carl, who goes looking for his missing wife, who is killed by the boar as well. The role of Carl was originally considered by director Russell Mulcahy to be played by actor Jeff Bridges, but producer Hal McElroy decided against it.

When Paul looks inside the jar, he sees a creature inside that looks like a fetus looking back at him. This creature winds up possessing Paul's mind, to which he can't determine what's real and what isn't. The tagline for this film is "It Blows The Lid Off Terror".

Jason Voorhees continues his reign of terror on unsuspecting friends partying the night away, as well as a mother with her daughter and young son. The role of Tommy is played by actor Corey Feldman. Towards the movie's end, he faces off against Jason in order to protect himself and his older sister Trish.

The character of Tommy returns in parts five and six of the franchise, but the roles are played by two other actors.
