Answer: Tyler Perry

Actor Tyler Perry, who is also a playwright, a director, and a producer, has become famous for creating and playing female roles. Perry's first film appearance as Madea came in 2005 in "Diary of a Mad Black Woman". "Forbes" magazine named him the highest paid male entertainer in 2011.
2. In what movie does Dustin Hoffman play difficult actor Michael Dorsey who, desperate for a role, auditions as a female?

Answer: Tootsie

"Tootsie" was produced in 1982. Dorsey (Hoffman) becomes so difficult to work with that he even gets fired from a commercial. He decides to audition as female actress Dorothy Michaels and wins the role of soap opera character Emily Kimberly. The film received 10 Oscar nominations, but only one win - Jessica Lange for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
3. Which male actor donned a house dress and gray wig to play the frumpy Mrs. Euphegenia Doubtfire?

Answer: Robin Williams

The 1993 comedy movie "Mrs. Doubtfire" starred Robin Williams as a divorced father who, in order to see his children more, disguises himself as a female housekeeper and gets hired by his ex-wife. Williams has worked in television, stand-up comedy, and numerous movies.

He has won many awards including the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role of Dr. Sean Maguire in the 1997 film "Good Will Hunting".

Born Archibald Alexander Leach in England, Grant first began performing at age 16 as a stilt walker with a troupe that toured the U.S. Grant played on Broadway and began his movie career in the early 1930s. Despite being nominated twice for a Best Actor Oscar and five times for a Best Actor Golden Globe, he never won.

At the 42nd Academy Awards in 1970, Frank Sinatra presented Grant with an Honorary Oscar.

Divine, whose real name was Harris Glenn Milstead, performed as a singer, an actor, and a drag queen. He was given the name "Divine" by friend and independent
filmmaker John Waters. Divine is probably best known for his role of Babs Johnson in Waters' 1972 film "Pink Flamingos". Divine died from an enlarged heart in 1988. Fierstein played Edna in the 2002 Broadway musical version, and Travolta assumed the role in the 2007 movie musical.

His guilt results in his developing a split personality, and he keeps his mother alive in his mind by wearing her clothes and a wig.

Norbit (Murphy), abandoned as a baby, is raised in an orphanage where his best friend and first love is Kate Thomas (Thandie Newton). Kate gets adopted and Norbit is left alone and endures bullying until Rasputia (Murphy) protects him and becomes his girlfriend. They grow up and marry, but life isn't easy with Rasputia. Eventually through a series of crazy events, Kate comes back into Norbit's life, but not without the wrath of Rasputia.

This movie earned Murphy three Raspberry Awards, Worst Actor for Norbit, Worst Supporting Actor for Mr. Wong, and Worst Supporting Actress for Rasputia. Another Raspberry nomination was for Worst Screen Couple - Eddie Murphy and Eddie Murphy.

The movie wasn't all that popular being described as a "one-joke movie". Two sequels have been made - "Big Momma's House 2" (2006) and "Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son" (2011).
