Loki vs. Avengers - "The Avengers" Quiz

Answer: Hawkeye

Nick Fury comes to observe the work shortly before Loki teleports into the laboratory. Erik Selvig reports that they are being watched from afar. When confronted, Hawkeye tells Nick Fury that he sees things better from a distance.

Answer: In a gym, punching a bag.

Captain America is punching a bag, having flashbacks of World War 2. Nick Fury approaches him, and Cap assumes that he is trying to get him back into the world. Nick Fury tells him that he is trying to save the world.

Cap is in a bedroom listening to a baseball game at the end of "Captain America: The First Avenger".

Bruce Banner is first shown in a village, not Steve.

And he isn't in a restaurant until the end of the movie.

Answer: Natasha Romanoff

Natasha Romanoff leaves an interrogation with some Chinese gang members to go retrieve Bruce Banner. Her being a spy, they thought she would be the best option to bring him in quietly, without unleashing the Hulk. He realizes what she is trying to do, and tests her, but then decides to come in quietly.

Answer: The Shield helicarrier turning invisible

At first, they think that the helicarrier is going to go underwater. Then, when it flies to the sky and turns invisible, Cap takes some money out of his wallet and hands it to Nick Fury.

The Quinjet going fast is never really expressed in the movie.

Phil Coulson's car is more shown in the "Marvel's Agents of Shield" show.

The iPhone is never really shown to Cap.

Answer: Phil Coulson

Phil has a collection of the trading cards that he asks Cap to sign. He mentions that they are in mint condition. Later, when he seemingly dies, Nick Fury plants the cards on his body, covered in blood. This gets Captain America to fight after he feels like giving up.

Answer: Loki stabs him.

Phil tries to stop Loki with a gun they made from the Destroyer from "Thor". He seemingly shoots Loki with the cannon, but is then stabbed in the back by the real Loki.

I put "die" in quotations, because it is later revealed in "Marvel's Agents of Shield" that Phil is actually brought back to life and continues working in the shadows.

Answer: Thor and Iron Man

Thor and Iron Man fight when Thor tries to capture Loki for Asgard. Iron Man confronts him, and the two fight in the woods. Thor electrocutes Iron Man, which actually powers him up to 400%, and the fight would have continued if Captain America hadn't interfered. He blocks Thor's hammer, causing an explosion that seems to calm the men down, as they work together afterwards.

Iron Man and Captain America don't physically fight until "Captain America: Civil War".

Thor and Hulk fight later in the movie on the helicarrier, and then again in "Thor: Ragnorak".

Answer: Black Widow

Hawkeye helps break Loki out of the helicarrier, with the help of some other mind-controlled shield members. Hawkeye then fights with Black Widow, who hits him in the head hard enough to remove the power of Loki's staff over his mind. When he wakes up, she continues talking to him to make sure that the mind control is gone.

Answer: "He's adopted."

Loki is technically Thor's adopted brother, being that he is actually a Frost Giant. This was meant as a comedic line, as Thor justifies the claim that he made, not wanting to be wrong. The fact that they were brothers makes it difficult for Thor the entire movie, as he has to deal with the fact that he doesn't want to kill Loki, but he is confused as to why he is doing evil.

Answer: He can't budge it.

Thor throws the hammer, and it lands on the floor of the helicarrier. Hulk strains to pick it up, but is not able to, because he is not worthy. Thor uses the distraction to smash Hulk in the face, and then he tries to use the hammer to choke Hulk out.

Answer: Putting an arrow through Loki's eye socket

Hawkeye joins Captain America and Black Widow as they decide to go fight Loki. Shooting Loki in the eye is something he claims will make him feel better. He actually almost does this, but Loki catches the arrow. The arrow, being explosive-tipped, then blows up in the god of mischief's face.

Answer: Iron Man

Iron Man asks Jarvis if he had heard the story of Jonah, a biblical character who spent three days inside of a large fish. Jarvis says that he wasn't much of a role model, but then Iron Man flies into the creature. He blows it up from the inside, revealing that their weaknesses are inside, since their outer shell is nearly impenetrable.

Answer: Iron Man

Iron Man approaches Loki inside his own house. Iron Man starts to make a drink, claiming that Loki is going to lose. Loki tells him that the Avengers are going to have a difficult time stopping him when they are going to have to fight Iron Man. He tries to tap Iron Man's heart, but the plate keeping Iron Man alive blocks the attempt, and allows Iron Man to keep his own mind.

Answer: "Puny god."

Loki lies there on the ground, groaning in pain. This is the final straw for Loki, who wakes up to find himself surrounded by the Avengers. He then asks for the drink that Iron Man offered him earlier.

Answer: To get shawarma

When Iron Man wakes up after sending a nuclear bomb through space into the Chitauri army, he asks the Avengers if they want to go get shawarma. They laugh about it at the time, glad that Tony is making jokes after he nearly died. But, for everyone who waits for the credits to roll, it shows the Avengers actually eating shawarma while the owner sweeps up broken glass in the background.

Not a word is said during this scene, they are just eating.
