The Avengers vs. Thanos - "Avengers: Infinity War" Quiz

In the comics, all of these characters are members of Thanos's Black Order, along with Black Dwarf (or Cull Obsidian in the movie). But, in the movie, Supergiant does not make an appearance in favor of the other four members.

After Iron Man goes on the space ship with Spider-Man and Doctor Strange, the rest of the Avengers fear the worst. This is an especially meaningful quote towards Secretary Thaddeus Ross due to the fact that Iron Man and Captain America haven't spoken since the events of "Civil War".

The Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avengers' first meeting wasn't too friendly. They fought over a misunderstanding. Peter Quill and the Guardians thought that the Avengers were working with Thanos. The Avengers thought that the Guardians were working for Thanos. So, in a showdown that ended with Peter Quill holding a gun to Spider-Man's head, and Iron Man holding a cannon to Drax's face, this dialogue occurs.

Thor responds saying that he wasn't sure if he was part of the team. Thor, being out of touch with Earth's pop culture, didn't understand that this person was actually an actor.

David Hasselhoff is actually who Star Lord (Peter Quill) pictured his father as. He told his real father, Ego, that in "Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume Two".

Sylvester Stallone plays the leader of the Ravagers in "Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume Two".

At one point, Tom Cruise was actually going to play Tony Stark when an "Iron Man" movie was first discussed in the '90s. Thankfully for the MCU, Robert Downey Jr. took this role almost ten years later.

Answer: Driving a bus

Stan is driving the bus that was taking Peter Parker and his classmates on a field trip. He is the only one not scared by the spaceship.

In "The Avengers", he is seen playing chess during a news report.

In Sony's "Venom", he is walking his dog and gives some advice to Eddy Brock.

In "Iron Man 3", Stan gives a contestant in a beauty contest a 10.

Answer: Groot

In the middle of the battle, Thor introduces Groot to Steve Rogers. In Groot fashion, Groot says, "I am Groot!". Thinking that Groot is introducing himself, and not realizing that this is all that Groot could say, Steve decides to introduce himself.

Answer: Gamora

Gamora finds out the location of the soul stone before the events of "Guardians of the Galaxy". She found it while helping Thanos, but she did not tell him the location of the stone. It was a secret that put anyone who knew it in danger from the Mad Titan's wrath. That is why Gamora does not tell Peter Quill when he asks, instead asking him to shoot her if Thanos captures her.

Answer: Spider-Man

When they are on the alien spaceship, Tony "knights" Peter into the Avengers. Unfortunately, Spider-Man does not get to spend much time in the Avengers before he disappears.

Doctor Strange is just kind of brought into the events, and it was fun seeing the dynamic between Tony and him. He was never "officially" made an Avenger, however.

Scarlet Witch and Black Panther have been helping Captain America after the events in "Captain America: Civil War", but neither of them interact with Tony during this movie.

Answer: Captain America

Iron Man kills Ebony Maw in space by blowing a hole in the side of the spaceship, causing Maw to be flushed out into space. This was a reference to the movie "Alien".

Bruce Banner kills Cull Obsidian using the Hulk Buster suit. He seals the giant's arm in one of the gloves, then uses it to project Cull Obsidian into the sky, where he explodes against Wakanda's force field.

Proxima Midnight is fighting Black Widow and Okoye when Scarlet Witch comes in and throws the alien into one of her own war machines, the blades shredding her to pieces.

Corvus Glaive goes after Vision at the end of the movie, when Vision is isolated from the others. Captain America comes to his aid, but Corvus Glaive gets the better of both of them, and is in the process of killing Cap when Vision stabs the alien in the back.

Answer: Iron Man

After the initial plan to defeat Thanos goes awry, there is a mad scramble to stop the Mad Titan. Iron Man is the only one to actually stand against him, fighting him even after Thanos throws a moon at him. Iron Man cuts Thanos's cheek, and the Mad Titan just laughs at the injury, saying, "All this, just for a drop of blood." Being unaffected by the injury, he then nearly kills Iron Man, but is stopped by Doctor Strange offering up the time stone.

Answer: Red Skull

Red Skull reappears as the keeper of the soul stone. After the events of "Captain America", he is transported to the planet Vormir. There, he is cursed to watch over the soul stone. Thanos comes to him to claim it, and Red Skull says that he must sacrifice what he loves most. Gamora, thinking that Thanos has lost because he loves nothing, begins to laugh until she notices Thanos crying.

She scoffs at Thanos for crying about his defeat, but Red Skull ominously says, "They are not for him."

Answer: Vision

Vision realizes that the only way to stop Thanos is to destroy the mind stone, the same one that is powering him. In Wakanda, they try to remove it surgically, but when Corvus Glaive attacks, they are left without that option. Vision says that the only way for them to destroy it is for Wanda (Scarlet Witch) to overheat the stone. Scarlet Witch, heartbroken, does, destroying the stone and Vision. Thanos then uses the time stone to go back to the moment before Vision exploded, and then rips the stone from his head. All of the color drains from Vision, and Thanos tosses him aside, where his body lies broken on the ground.

Loki and Gamora both fall victim to Thanos as well, but they only die once.

Doctor Strange was a victim of the Snap.

Answer: Falcon

Falcon sees Corvus Glaive attack Vision, and says those words. Captain America rushes to the aid of Vision, and the two of them fight together to kill Corvus Glaive. Falcon is only shown one more time, as he falls victim to the Snap.

Captain America and War Machine survive the Snap.

Bucky's final word is "Steve?" as he dissolves into dust.

Answer: "Everything."

"Everything" to Thanos likely means the death of his daughter, Gamora. After Thanos wakes up from this vision, he sits and watches the sun rise, something that he said he would do once he had won.

Answer: Thanos

This final moment of the movie left the next "Avengers" movie uncertain. A lot of the Avengers died or fell victim to the Snap. We saw that certain heroes withstood the Snap, while others are missing. The only thing we know for certain is that Thanos will return.
