This is on the way to the Path of the Dead. Legolas, Aragorn, and Gimli are on their way to get the King of the Dead on Rohan's side for an advantage in the battle at Minis Tirith. This is just after Pippin has looked into the Palantir and sees Sauron. Gandalf is questioning Pippin about what he saw. Pippin explains that he saw the white tree that is in the courtyard of Minas Tirith. Pippin sees it burning and he also sees Sauron's troops marching into the city and taking over it.

The Eye of Sauron has just told Pippin his plans to destroy Minas Tirith. This is from "The Return if the King".

This scene is from the extended version of "The Two Towers". Boromir is giving a speech on how Gondor can live without a king. Denethor is the steward of Gondor and that is enough.
