After the ring accidentally falls out of Frodo's pocket and he catches and puts it on, Strider grabs Frodo and takes him to a private room, revealing to Frodo he knows who he is, and that he knows what's hunting Frodo and his companions.

He explains who the Nazgul, also known as Ringwraiths, are and why they are hunting Frodo. They are always feel the power of the ring, and they will stop at nothing to get it back and give to their master, Sauron.

In "The Fellowship of the Ring", soon after leaving the Prancing Pony with Strider, later identified as Aragorn, the four hobbits stop to have what they call "second breakfast". Strider says that they do not stop until nightfall, and is not familiar with second breakfast. Pippin also asks if he knows about afternoon tea, dinner, supper, and others. Strider throws the hobbits an apple and keeps moving.
3. What's this? A Ranger, caught off his guard?" Who catches Aragorn off guard?

Answer: Arwen

In "The Fellowship of the Ring", while resting at the former watchtower known as Weathertop, the Nazgul find the four hobbits while Aragorn is away. He returns in the midst of the battle between the hobbits and the Nazgul with a sword and a lit torch. Even though the Nazgul are driven away, Frodo is stabbed. Aragorn looks for a weed that will help slow the poison from the blade. Once finding the weed, he bends down to cut some from the ground when someone holds a knife to his neck.

He recognizes the voice, knowing it is the She-Elf Arwen, who means no harm.

However, she does deliver this line, meant to be humorous.
4. "I would rather share one lifetime with you than face all the ages of this world alone." Which character gives up their eternal life to be with the one he or she loves?

Answer: Arwen

Shortly after they arrive in Rivendell in "The Fellowship of the Ring", Aragorn and Arwen have time to talk with one another, face to face. They confess their love for one another, and she, being an elf, has the chance to live forever. Even knowing this, she wants a mortal life with Aragorn.
5. "One does not simply walk into Mordor. Its Black Gates are guarded by more than just Orcs. there is evil there that does not sleep....Not with ten thousand men could you do this. It is folly." Which member at the Council meeting delivers this?

Answer: Boromir

At the secret meeting, Boromir talks about how outrageous this quest would be, and that it is not possible at all. Gimli then adds on that they will have to travel through the Dead Marshes and an area with razor-sharp rocks. Aragorn calmly says to them that that is the road that they will talk.

Then Sam, Merry, and Pippin surprisingly show up at the end of the meeting. Thus the Fellowship of the Ring is born, and they are comprised of the elf Legolas, dwarf Gimli, wizard Gandalf, men Aragorn and Boromir, and the hobbits, Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin.
6. "I would have followed you, my brother...my captain...my king." Which dying character says this to Aragorn, Isildur's heir?

Answer: Boromir

In the first battle against the Uruk-Hai orcs in "The Fellowship of the Ring", Boromir is pierced with an arrow trying to save Merry and Pippin. He still fights on and is pierced with multiple arrows again. He then backs up against a tree, as he is no longer capable of fighting and has to sit.

After the orcs have been taken care of, Aragorn approaches Boromir, and Boromir deliver this line to him. He is admitting to Aragorn that he sees him as not only the leader of the Fellowship but the future king of Gondor, where Boromir is from. Aragorn then touches him and tells Boromir to be at peace as he dies.

He is then placed on a boat with his equipment and sent home by the river.

Rohan is desperate for soldiers, and those in charge are calling for all able-bodied men to fight.

This is from "The Two Towers". After arriving at their post, Gimli delivers this to Aragorn. He is one of the men in charge, and Legolas delivers the second line to Aragorn, giving him reassurance that the soldiers will listen to his commands. Gimli then delivers the third line in a nonchalant and humorous manner.

As the Uruk-Hai approach Helm's Deep, Aragorn tells the soldiers to show no mercy, because they will receive none in return. It is shortly after that the battle soon begins.
10. "I'll have no pointy-ear outscoring me!" Who says this just after the Battle of Helm's Deep has begun?

Answer: Gimli

In "The Two Towers", Gimli yells to Legolas that he's already killed two orcs, while Legolas replies that he's already on 17. This gives Gimli even more motivation to kill the invading orcs. He then delivers this line to himself. After the battle is over, the two of them add up how many they've killed. Both have taken care of more than 40 orcs each.
11. "I wonder if we'll ever be put into songs or tales?" Which thoughtful character ponders this?

Answer: Samwise

At the end of "The Two Towers", while traveling the path from Cirith Ungol, Sam poses this to Frodo. He realizes how difficult the road has been and how even more dangerous it is about to become. Sam and Frodo then make up different quotes that would be in those stories, giving each other compliments and trying to raise their spirits amidst such a dangerous task.
12. "Put aside the Ranger. Become who you were born to be." Who firmly tells Aragon to fulfill his destiny and take up the throne?

Answer: Elrond

In "The Return of the King", on the eve of battle, Elrond shows up in Theodin's tent, there to see Aragorn. Arwen has convinced her father to reforge Anduril, flame of the west, the blade that cut the ring, that belongs to the King of Gondor. Elrond says that he has come on behalf of one who he loves (Arwen).

He then reveals the sword to Aragorn. Elrond tells him that whoever can wield that sword can summon an army greater than any.
13. "I do not doubt his heart, only the reach of his arm." Who says this about Merry, new Esquire of Rohan?

Answer: Eomer

Merry, who has just been knighted by Theodin in "The Return of the King", is with the camp ready to go to battle. Eowyn continues to encourage and give him advice. 14. "You may as well accept it. We're going with you, laddie." Which character says this about a trip to the road into the mountain?

Answer: Gimli

In "The Return of the King", Elrond talks about getting more men to fight, even the ones in the mountains. Aragorn, with the new sword, is about to take the Dimalt Road into the mountain. He is then stopped by Gimli and Legolas. Both simply imply that he's not going without them. The three then ride into the mountain pass and prepare to enter the city of the dead.
15. "My friends. You bow to no one." Which character delivers this regal line to the hobbits?

Answer: Aragorn

"In Return of the King", after Aragorn is crowned king, he passes through the crowd at the top of Minas Tirith, bowing back and forth some royalties. Aragorn then reaches Legolas, and they share a pat on the shoulder. Then Legolas tilts his head back, trying to get Aragorn to look over Legolas' shoulder. Aragorn does, and he sees an adorned Arwen. Shocked to see her, Aragorn rushes towards her and kisses her. Arwen becomes the Queen of Gondor, and walks the rest of the way with her King.

At the end of the row, Merry, Pippin, Sam, and Frodo are sitting atop a platform, watching everything.

They bow to Aragorn and Arwen once they reach the hobbits. As soon as they start to bow, Aragorn stops them and delivers this line. Then Aragorn bows to them, as does everyone else in the city.
